Great cookie jar for the money!
This jar is not too big or small, and holds a good amount of cookies for the grandkids. The seal is nice and tight, so freshness is ensured. Nice!

Perfect size for M&M's.
This container is the perfect size for candy and small cookies. As you can see m&m's are perfect in it. If you are looking for a cookie jar I would suggest the next size up. The cover fits snuggly but is a little cheaply made, hence 4 stars instead of 5. I wanted something that would match other items on my island and this accomplishes just that. Happy with my purchase.

Beautiful jar! Have many of them in my home. Use them for coffee, sugar, flour.

Not as shown in the picture
I ordered this jar to match some other Montana style jars that I have and if the item would have come as pictured it would be perfect. The problem is that it didn't. The pictured jar has a rough, matte black lid that looks pretty different from the lid on the jar I received. This jar does have a matte black paint, but not the rough finish. Also the knob/handle on the lid is different than in the picture...as is the shape of the jar. It's similar, but not the same, which defeats the purpose of me buying this jar to go with my other jars. I'm going to keep it, but am very disappointed with this purchase and will not buy from this vendor in the future since they don't send the product that they advertise in their pictures on Amazon.

Nice, cute, but smaller than picture
This is a really cute little jar, but it looked a lot smaller in person than pictured. So it did not work for what I needed it for. However, when trying to return it, I was going to get charged a third of what it cost so I opted to keep it. Hopefully I'll find another use for it some day. I'm giving 3 stars because, although it's cute and useful for something, the picture was a little deceiving and they were going to charge me to send it back.

This is not the "Anchor Hocking" Montana Container
The description reads: Set contains: (1) 48-ounce glass Montana jar black lid. The photo shows the lid as textured, but the "Montana" lid on the jar I received is smooth, black, and not as heavy as the "Anchor Hocking Montana" lids. In fact, the lid feels like cheap, thin aluminum.It feels like a switcheroo, but, the description does not say, "Anchor Hocking Montana", it just says "Montana" jar, so, my bad, and buyer beware!
