Update 6/19/15 - Time for a replacement. the issue with the wiring splitting open (see update on 4/13/15 below) has finally reached a point where I can't use the unit any more. the split has exposed the outer cable (the ground wire) and I don't want to risk any shorting...so time for a replacement. While my newer Thinkpad T440s uses the newer style rectangular power connector, I'm still using my older T400s (5 generations old) as well, so I'm going to buy another one of this same AC Adapter from Pwr+ again so I can use it with both laptops. (With the T440s I use a power connection converter that converts the round connector into the rectangular one). Actually the powe connection converter doesn't last very long (about a year or so) while this AC Adapter from Pwr+ has lasted for a number of years.Update: 4/13/15 - Its been just over three years since I bought this unit. It is still working fine. the only 'minor' issue is that the wiring split open a little near the charger itself. I've attached a photo with an arrow. This exposed the ground wire a little but it still worked so I used some electrical tape to secure it and prevent it from flexing and getting worse. that is a typical weak point since there is thicker insulation just as the wire enters the charger and its just the more flexible wiring after that. However its still much superior to the chargers that came with the Lenovo Thinkpad itself where the wire would fray in the middle of the entire length. I now use this adapter for not only my T400s but also my T440s in conjunction with Patuoxun® Power Converter Cable Adapter for Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon. Since the T440s use a rectangular power port rather than the circular ones of older thinkpads, I use this converter whenever I use the Pwr+ AC Adapter with the T440s and use the Pwr+ by itself when I use my T400s which is still working.When I bought my Thinkpad I purchased two of the AC power adapters. One to keep at the office and one that I would use at home and when I traveled to the other office location. the one I used at home/mobile did not last. the wiring (between the AC adapter and the laptop) became frayed at one spot such that the internal wiring broke. My friend gave me one he had from an older thinkpad he no longer used and that one (identical unit to mine) also started to have some fraying but still works. I purchase this Pwr+ unit and I like it much better in that the wiring is thicker and appears to be more heavy-duty. It's a 90w unit (the ones that came with my laptop were the 65w versions) so its a little bigger than my lenovo ones but it works great, it has a blue LED to show its receiving AC power (which the lenovo does not). Its also very reasonably priced compared to buying another 65w unit from lenovo. The only 'minor' issue may be it uses a 3 prong AC plug while the original 65w ac adapter from lenovo uses 2 prong plug. In some older homes the outlets are 2 prong.

I own a Lenovo SL410. I have gone through two Lenovo branded power adapters. The original adapter that came with the laptop stopped working while I was at an airport. When I examined the transformer, I found scorch marks on the underside. I bought a replacement Lenovo adapter and after less than a year, the connection became intermittent and only charged when it wanted to. After going through two power cords over such a short amount of time, I decided to look outside Lenovo branded parts.I decided on the PWR+ adapter due to the strong reviews on Amazon. I have not been disappointed. I have owned this adapter for a little under three months and it has met all my expectations. The build quality definitely seems far superior to the Lenovo adapters. I really doubt I will see any of the mechanical breakdowns the Lenovo adapters have a reputation for. The transformer does not seem to get as hot as the Lenovo one did. The performance has been comparable to my original stock adapter.There are two points I should make. This adapter is bigger and heavier than the stock adapter. This is due to the longer cord and larger transformer. If you are worried about size or are going to do a lot of traveling, it is definitely something to consider. It really hasn't bothered me that much. I have also noticed the connector to the computer is a bit looser than the connection I got with the stock adapter. It hasn't really caused an issue for me, but its something you should be aware of.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

I bought this as a backup charger for my LG Gram and it works great.I keep it in my truck when I go somewhere with my laptop, I'll always have a charger.

My previous charger from this company still works after 2 years. Got a new one for my USB C type charge port, work laptop (Thinkpad). Worked well for first 5 weeks and stopped charging laptop on the 6th. Just says “plugged in” and wouldnt charge. Laptop works with other chargers. Disappointed that i missed the return window by 2 weeks.

Very disappointed. I have ordered aftermarket products for computer before, chargers, cords, batteries, accessories and I have not had a problem. The recommendations on this charger were mixed, but I saw lots of positive ones and the manufacturer saying they stood behind them. I received my order, packaged well and seemed like a solidly made product, so I plugged in my laptop. It charged right up. The next day after using the laptop I plugged in the computer again, and got the flashing warning 10% charge left. I assumed it had gotten disconnected, but it was totally dead. I have two Lenovos almost identical so I tried my other 4 year old cord and it worked perfectly. REVISED December 8, 2016. The supplier sent me a replacememt. I received it two days ago. I used the replacement since then with no problems. It seems to be working fine. I am impressed by the build quality, it is heavier built and with better cords than the original Lenovo OEM product. It seems that the original one had a problem but it was replaced and I have good experience with the supplier.

El cargador está bien y me ha funcionado, sin embargo lo estan vendiendo como un cargador de 65W y solo te entrega 50W, lo cual es inferior al consumo de mi laptop.Aun así me ha servido para cargarla, pero me preocupa que por la exigencia de potencia, el cargador termine dejando de funcionar muy pronto.
