The Expanse Rocinante Spaceship Replica - Exclusive Not in Stores

Great collectible. Another addition to my collection of scifi ships.Contents: Ship (one piece), base, background, and 2 sticks to hold the ship.In regards to this ship, the detail is pretty amazing. The decals/paint etc are really good.The detail in which the ship is molded is good (IE Thrusters, outline etc are good) .The feel of it is like a hard plastic. It's solid except for the front of the ship. The front is fragile.The base holds the ship well. And is a good display. For about $7 bucks it's a good buy. Id recommend buying it. Cool display.

At <$7 I'm very satisfied with this miniature. Details are acceptable, it's a reasonable size, and the display is nice. Paint is decent, with the text and logos nice, though I'm not a fan of the "battle damage" paint speckled all over it. Personally I prefer the MCRN Tachi or Rocinante's season 4+5 livery, of with the PDCs deployed, but it's nice to get an inexpensive miniature at all in the first place.One of my copies had a slight bend in the overall hull, but dunking it in boiling water for about 10 seconds allowed me to bend it back into the correct shape, which it retained after cooling. You can also remove the exhaust effect if you're careful, though the inside of the drive will require a little paint afterward.

I didn't check the size beforehand, so that's completely my fault, but for some reason I was thinking that it would be around 6-7 inches long and around 4-5 inches in diameter; however, the true size of The Rocinante is about 4 inches long and roughly an inch/inch and a half in diameter.That being said, the model's overall quality and details are superb. I purchased this after having already seen every available episode, so I do wish that this replica had the newest paint scheme.Is there any possible way that this will be sold again as a bigger and have a more up-to-dated design? I saw one on Amazon that you build; which was really, really bad***, however the price tag was far too high for me to just throw down, unfortunately lol so could you perhaps compromise and sale one that meets the consumer halfway?Thank you all so much for everything that you do. This is a great model befitting a great story series. We’ve watched the five seasons. I bought and have read the eight books of the Expanse. I’m waiting for the ninth book that is coming. Here’s the thing. I really wish there were a larger model of the Rocinante. Plastic OK, porcelain would be better. I want to make a bedside lamp for my 4 year old grandson — he’s an astrospace engineer and he needs a space ship. A model of the Rocinante would be just right. I love the one that is available, but it is small for what I want to do with one.

Preassembled extremely accurate miniature replica of the Martian Rocinante. Slightly varied from the photo on the box as this comes with black mounting posts for the partial diorama that is actually too small for the already small ship. It should be 1-2” longer and it would still have fit in the box as well as filled more of the background for photo op. The replica is able to be so accurate due to the already digitized image in the show able to be faithfully recreated during manufacturing. It’s not like they are trying to sculpt a replica based on random photos. The only complaint is the nose section where the antennae are bent from tight packaging. I bought two. One for collecting the other for play. Yes I am a grown man with the imagination of flying the ship around. I am not ashamed. I have many flash lights and the 395 and 365nm wavelength UV lights allow for the plume to light up brightly as shown. The decals are already placed and also UV reactive. This was worth the value and I recently binged all of the past episodes of the Expanse. New fan and this was a great find for me. I kind of wish there was a serenity ship model in the same scale.

Mine differed silightly from the picture, as it had Black stands instead of Clear.The Roci itself is one single piece mold. It really looks great. It has the GAS logo on the vessel in the rear.The whole thing looks darker in real life than it seems to come out in pictures.It is very solid and hefty and makes a great model to show off your love for the expanse show. I was really surprised at how detailed this was for 5$. I would say if you are a fan of the show this is an easy "Add to cart"

This is a delightful little model, well worth it's rather low price. It is small, it fits neatly into your palm, but it is quite detailed. It fits nicely on its stand and it is made so the ship tilts towards the viewer a bit. Perfect for a desk or a nightstand. A small, blue light in the back to light up the clear plastic plume of the Epstein Drive would make this one near perfect. Markings represent the Second Season Rocinante.

It's cheap, it's small, and it's made of plastic. Its okay as a desk ornament, but dont look too closely. Its best viewed from an arm distance away. Mine came inca bit warped, and up close its noticeable. But for its price, its fine.
