Q: Can a cellphone be mounted on this boom and what accessory do you recommend to do so.?

I would say this is not the piece of equipment for your purposes. This stand is designed for beauty dishes and heavy flash components for professional-ish photography -which is why it has a weight for counter balance. You cell phone doesn’t have a prayer against this beast. I broke up a dog fight with it.

Q: Where is the arm?? All I got is a stand.

The arm is within the stand. Loosen at the angle joint and fully extend. The arm will reveal itself, angle down, pull the arm back a little, attach your counter weight and your light.

Where is the arm?? All I got is a stand.

Can be added clamps to hold reflectors?

Could I modify this by cutting some of the tubes shorter? I need it to be closer to the ground most of the time and don’t need such a tall max height.
