Engine Starts On The First Pull And Runs Smooth
My Troy Bilt pressure washer with a Briggs & Stratton 6.5HP Quantum engine (Model No. 12Q802-120-D1) wasn’t running as smooth as it used to, so I felt that I should get a new air filter and rebuilt the carburetor. It turns out that a replacement carburetor was a better option for me. I got this Pro Chaser 499059 Carburetor for Briggs Stratton that came with new carburetor, air filter, pre air filter, gas shut off valve, gas filter, gas primer, gaskets, hose, hose clamps and a spark plug; almost a complete maintenance kit. This Pro Chaser kit fitted perfectly and works great; the engine starts on the first pull and runs smoothly even under load. I did not need the gas primer and had no room for the fuel filter.Here is the review ranking basis that I have adopted:⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

Replace rather than rebuild/repair
Replacement carb. At a $20 price point it’s easier to replace an existing carb than tackle the obstacles involved trying to rebuild an old one.

Not compatible.
I tried to use this carb because it was advertised as compatible with the Briggs & Stratton 694505. It is not!

Perfect! Fix for my Craftsman pressure washer
My craftsman pressure washer would not start likely due to ethanol in the fuel gumming up the jets and passages. I decided to replace the carburetor with this affordable replacement. Carburetor. Easy to install and work perfectly after priming the carb bowl before starting. Was nice to have other tune-up parts included in the kit.

good price and most parts worked great but spark plug gap was so large it was unusable.
Mosts parts worked very well. Spark plug gap , however, was so large it was unusable.
