STRIKING OUT: SERIES 2

NO PROBLEMS WITH THIS COMPANY'S SERVICE OR THE DVDS. DISAPPOINTED THAT THE COMPANY THAT MADE THIS SERIES DOES NOT PLAN ON A 3RD SEASON TO RESOLVE THE PLOTS OF ALL THE CHARACTERS.

British cop/lawyer series are so much better than those made in the States. Actors look like real people, not models, and situations are intense and realistic. Tara is incredible in so many ways as the attorney/star of the series. Tara, Tara, Tara... oh - sorry! :=)

Earlier this year I watched the 1st series of 4 episodes and just finished watching the 2nd series of 6 episodes. Last year we found that Tara had been evicted from her office space and that Ray was arrested.This year we find out that Ray was arrested on trumped up charges and that the eviction was illegal. What's worse the eviction looks to have been put into motion as a favor to Eric's father who we find out has his hands in just about everything (and some of the things look pretty dirty & sleazy). He is not just the head of Dublin's largest law firm but he may be connected to organized crime (we don't know for sure but it looks like he might be). We also find out that Tara's father has been unfaithful to his wife and also may be "dirty".This is a fun show and the plot so to speak thickens. Again I was happy that there were 6 episodes and sad that the there were not more. Hopefully there is a 3rd series and perhaps more than 6 episodes.The show is done very well and can easily stand up against anything produced in the US. The music is good as well and the extra features & behind the scenes provide a lot of back story & useful information.Can't wait for the third Season

As advertised. When does season 3 come out? I want more...

If you like British mysteries, you will love this series. It is really a quality production.

The series kept me hooked! Only complaint ..... the last episode ended abruptly and I have no idea if a series 3 is going to happen.

I enjoyed series 1 to the point that I decided to purchase Series 2 as well. I plan to watch both series twice.

The additional purchase options are a rip off. The episode you purchase is the same as the last one included in the season available through the subscription with Acorn TV. My opinion is that this is deceptive.

Delightful contemporary glimpses of Dublin from a professional female point of view. I can't wait for Series 3.
