Finicky but miraculous
This stuff WORKS. However, it needs to be prepared and applied correctly or it’s useless. You HAVE to start with a completely clean, untouched base (if I use any kind of eye cream or moisturizer underneath it, it doesn’t do a darn thing.) But they do warn you about that in the instructions so it’s to be expected. I cleanse, then use a gentle toner (it MUST be oil-free) under the eyes and let it dry completely before applying. You then have to apply JUST the right amount (trial and error, but I’ve found that about a pea size dot is enough for both eyes), and start by gently swiping on the area and THEN patting. When I start out by just patting, it doesn’t work as well. And do NOT get it right underneath the eyes.. it will be crepe-city. This is designed to reduce bags, not fine lines. When I get it too close under my eyes where I have lines I'm horrified. It also definitely feels weird and tight but that’s to be expected. After applying, I’ve found that putting ANY kind of liquid/cream product on top of it (concealer, foundation, moisturizer) completely negates its effects. They say in the instructions that any kind of oil breaks down the tightening qualities and it’s true. So if you want to put makeup on top, it’s best to use some sort of lightweight powder. It does have a tint to it so I haven’t found the need for concealer when I’m wearing it.It definitely is fussy and finicky BUT it works so well I don’t mind. If you read the instructions they are very straightforward about how particular you have to be to get good results, so it’s not like they’re trying to trick you. Now that I’ve practiced with it a bunch, I’ll never be without it. I won’t use it every day because I do like to put eye cream on in the morning and can’t do that with this, so I save it for special occasions or extra-puffy days. It’s expensive but worth it for those days.

Works for me
This is my second purchase, and it has become my fav thus far. After washing my face and dabbing on a light layer of vitamin c serum, I then apply a mattifying, tinted sunscreen. Next, I apply my foundation and pat on Westmore Beauty firming gel on top of the puffy eye bags. I wait a minute and apply setting powder on my face AVOIDING the area of the firming gel. This has been key for me. I get good results. I'm 76.

A MUST HAVE for anyone with under eye bags and puffiness!
I am a CPap user for sleep apnea, and lucky me, I am a 1 in 1000 user whose sinus cavities fill with the air from the machine. This has caused quite a bit of puffiness under my eyes and under my brow bone. I use an amount about 1/2 size of a pea and apply it to both under my eyes and near my brow bone. This product works best (for me) to smear it on with my ring finger, then go back and pat lightly until blended. The product reduces the eye bags and above my eyes by 80%, and I could not be happier. This is the second time I have bought this product and it will continue to be a staple in my makeup routine. Well done Westmore Beauty!!! Warning - This product will not work if the skin underneath has any type of moisturizer, concealer, or liquid foundation. I use Laura Geller's powder foundation and it works great for me. I hope this information helps!

Best I’ve found for eye bags
When. Amazon has a sale like Prime Day or Black Friday, I like to try several eye creams to see if any really work to reduce eye bags. I’ve tried several brands, the ones that are supposed to work over time and the instant ones, and none have worked except this one! I’m mad I’ve bought Peter Thomas Roth more than once and basically wasted my money because I could never get it to look right. It always left white residue no matter which application method I used. With this one, I can put it on like normal eye cream and not worry about white rings. I am continually amazed when I look in the mirror, even in bright sun, and can’t see residue. At first, I was afraid to use too much, but when I use a pea size for each eye, it looks great. What I do is put on all my makeup then use micellar water to clean just under my eyes before applying this cream. It won’t work with concealer or moisturizer. I was about to give up on ever finding a cream that works until I found this one. It gives me so much more confidence to go out now. Highly recommended.

Love it when it goes on smoothly
I've been using this product for at least a year. The first tube I got worked pretty well and I've loved the results when it's working properly. I've had bags and dark circles most of my life, and this product smooths it all away AND the tint works great with my skin color! However, the second tube I bought recently isn't working as well. It doesn't go on as smoothly, and leaves a chalky residue as it dries. I've shaken the tube well, as instructed. I wonder what they've done differently with the gel to make it not go on as smoothly as my first tube? I love this stuff when it works, kinda hate it when it doesn't. It's unpredictable.

Seems like a new formula that no longer works - inconsistent results
I've used Westmore's 60-Second Eye Effects Tinted Firming Gel for a year. That's how long my first tube lasted. In the beginning, because it was so expensive ($45), I only used it for special occasions. Once I got the hang of applying it (and that DID take some time), I loved it so much that I wore it daily even if I wasn't leaving the house. It was nice to see my face whenever I walked by a mirror! I finally ran out a month ago and was pleasantly surprised to see the price was $10 less. But the product doesn't seem the same. I have struggled for a month now to achieve the results I'd had for a year and it's as if I've forgotten how to apply it! NOTHING I do works. The bags & dark circles are still there. Don't know if I've got a defective tube, but the product does not go on evenly. I've re-watched the vids, re-read the instructions, but it just looks blotchy & dry. There are rare occasions when it magically works again, but results are generally inconsistent. I'm looking for something new.
