Okay, so where is the watch?
This is the first time I’ve ever gotten an empty watch box from Amazon. I’ve only read “empty watch box comments” and thought that it will never happen to me! But I guess my time has come! I’ve ordered several watches from Amazon throughout the years and they have always been fine no issues whatsoever. I have no idea how they were able to receive this item, store it, scan it, package it, etc, then ship it without checking if they’re even shipping anything! I would understand if they sent me a wrong item, but an empty watch box?! Seriously? I called Amazon customer service, they were very helpful and refunded me right away. I’m going to review the box since that’s the only thing I got and since packaging says a lot about the watch inside. I can tell from the box alone, it’s definitely a cheaper lower quality one compared to say better premium brands like Citizen, Seiko, Bulova, etc. It “looks” nice from afar, brown leatherette box with a faux suede lining but it’s different once you touch it. It’s not that nice anymore and it’s very light weight. Also, the watch looks beautiful on the photo and on the video and read the wonderful reviews on here, and thought I might just hit the jackpot that’s why I ordered it to give it a try. But from the quality of the box, I would not repurchase it. Save some more money and buy a better quality watch that will last a long time. It might not look this fancy and pretty, but it’s a darn better quality. There’s an eco-drive watch that you can buy for $80 or $90 bucks. It’s double the price compared to this one, but it’s still something affordable and attainable to most people. That’s a workhorse watch that will last for years and years. In the end, we really do get what we pay for.

Somewhat difficult to unclasp
It says it's yellow metal in the description, but it has a bit of a rose gold look in some light. The piece was beautifully cased; you can easily give one of these as a gift. Set in a suede-like fabric, each part of the watch was wrapped in cellophane, actually so much that I had a little trouble getting it all off, without scratching it with sharp object I was using to cut the stuff off with. Beautiful stainless steel watch (back, band and case) with tiny crystals set completely around the bezel. They appear to be prong set, so hopefully no missing stones any time soon. The clasp is a pop-off type that doesn't come completely apart, rather the catch just opens enough to get your hand through (my hands are fairly large and fit just fine. You will likely need to remove a couple of links if you like your watch to fit snugly against your wrist. The clasp is difficult to open; in fact I had to use something to open it instead of my finger like I do with my Fossil watch. I think it would be really hard for anyone with mobility issues such as arthritis. The face is very pretty and the crystal is identified as Sapphitek Crystal and it is rated as water resistant to 5ATM/165 feet. Very nice for a dressy watch. All in all an attractive time piece. and other than the considerable difficulty in unclasping it, it is an exceptionally nice watch.

Luscious Lucien
This Lucien Piccard watch is the perfect shade of warm rose gold. It's not yellow gold, or even a honey, it's pink tinged perfection. The ring of clear crystals around the dial are petite, but offer just the right amount of eye catching sparkle. The watch face is luxurious, with large easy to read roman numerals, and a nice sweep second hand. It's easy to set, just pull the crown turn and ta-da. As expected from any of my watches, it keeps excellent time.If you have a watch sizing tool set it's fairly easy to size yourself. If not, a jeweler will charge a nominal fee. I did take out a few links and it fits perfect. However, the clasp is tricky to figure out the first few times. There is not a release mechanism, (nothing to push), a simple tug will undo the band, but you have to know where to tug and which direction. It's smooth, and easy... but only after you have done it a few times. (I find all their clasps, both on the sizable metal bands or the clasping leather bands to be tricky the first time, after that you get it and it's easy.)The price is still lower than other watches, while still being gorgeous and on trend. The presentation of the dark brown box is luxurious, and for yourself or a gift it is pretty fancy.

Very attractive, feminine, and accurate watch. Classy!
This is a very attractive and feminine woman's fashion watch. The watch I received came in a very attractive (and protective) gift box. It would make a lovely gift. My watch is an attractive rose gold colored. Classy! The bracelet type band is easily adjustable with the proper tools. I bought a set of watch tools at the local Harbor Freight for a few dollars and they worked fine. The bezel is set with very sparkly crystals which appear to be clasp set. Hopefully they won't fall off as easily as if they were just glued on. The stem is easy to pull out to adjust the time. There is a second hand, and after a day of use accuracy of the quartz movement seems excellent. The crystal is synthetic sapphire so it should resist scratches very well. It is also rated water resistant to 50 meters. Probably OK to get it wet when washing your hands, but definitely not a dive watch.Overall, this is a very attractive and accurate woman's fashion watch. The quality seems better than many similarly priced women's fashion watches. Would make a marvelous gift to a fashion conscious woman who wears a watch.
