Frog tape is the only painter's tape I will use. First time using this delicate yellow variety. it did well and did not pull off week old wall paint.

Best tape for no running paint beyond lines

The media could not be loaded. Frog Tape was recommended to me at the hardware store, but wasn’t available in the width/strength combo I was told I needed. Amazon to the rescue!!!I am a complete amateur, very little experience painting walls in general. So when I got this idea for an accent wall in my head, naturally my friends and family were skeptical of my ability to pull it off.Look at the CRISP lines I was able to achieve! AS AN AMATEUR!!! That’s all thanks to yellow Frog Tape. The stickiness was perfect for laying on top of paint and did not cause the first layer to lift at all. The leak prevention was flawless! The minimal areas of leakage were due to operator error as I forgot to run my hand over a few spots to ensure the tape was fully sealed.Yellow Frog Tape was so easy to use both in application and removal. The functionality couldn’t be better for the straight lines I wanted to and did achieve. Durability wise it was solid. I could tear it, but it took a bit of effort so it’s not flimsy at all and I found it easier to cut it using scissors.All in all, I am blown away with the results I was able to achieve and couldn’t have done it without this tape.

I love this stuff, and use it regularly to preserve clean white borders for my artwork on paper. It holds firmly to the page and yet peels off cleanly and easily (especially when heated lightly with a hairdryer).

good stuff use a lot

Frog Tape was used extensively during our interior painting of main living area and made separation of ceiling, wall and baseboard painting much easier. Easy to apply and easy to remove, and when applied properly the tape does it’s protective duties very well!

This is what I needed! No more paper coming off stuck to the tape. Works beautifully.Of course, remember to gently remove the tape from the paper, regardless!
