Dell Ultra Sharp U2413 23.8in Screen LED-Lit Monitor (Discontinued by Manufacturer) (Renewed)

I bought two of these for myself, I design and illustrate on my computer and wanted a more accurate representation of the colors in my artwork on the monitor. I don't have a fancy color printer to check colors so I wanted to find something that would be close to accurate on my screen. These screens are BEAUTIFUL. I love love love them!Unfortunately after about 3 months one of them suddenly started to turn off for no reason. The whole screen would go black and all the lights on the monitor would shut off. After about 30-40 seconds it would just turn back on. Started to happen every 15 minutes or so. The people at this company are GREAT! When I looked up the return policy I realized I was just over my 90-day return guarantee. I emailed to see if there was anything to be done, I just wanted to exchange since I love the monitor, they emailed back almost instantly and said not to worry they would fix this, "whatever it takes". The next day they personally called me and just flat out sent a new monitor and a return slip for the broken one. I have never had such a great experience with another company before. Thank you SO much! My new monitor has arrived and so far is working perfectly.

I purchased 5 of these monitors a few years back for work because they were able to display 99% Adobe rgb and weren't over $500 like the rest of the monitors that are able to do the same. Since then, I have come to love this model. It has accurate color rendition for photo editing (still getting 99%Adobe rgb after calibration) and has been a workhorse and they all still run great. I recently purchased a refurbished one from refurbees for myself and cannot be more pleased. I was worried about color accuracy from a refurbished one, but am getting it to display 100% Adobe rgb, 100% rgb, and 99% ntsc! All this for dirt cheap (refurbished costs $130)! I've heard Dell's new models that are able to display Adobe rgb are crappy and way more expensive. I suggest you buy as many of these suckers as you can before the old new stock is gone!

I love the sharpness and color quality. BUT I have had it for a total of 30 hours now and The screen keeps going Blank/Black. It could be at anytime. the 1st time happened about an hour after I first plugged it in. Now it could be about every half hour or hour. Once the shut downs occurred only 15 mins apart. I either have to turn it off and then on again to get it the image/picture back or unplug it then plug it back in. I'm over seas and had it mailed to my home then forward it on to me. The Monitor was a bargain. BUt the time and mailing costs are souring me. I thought because this was a Refurb, that it would have been corrected before I received it. OPPS Just shut down again......I no sooner finished pushing the submit button and it shut down again. The time between shut downs wasn't even 4 mins ..it just did it a third time all in about a 6 min time span. I'll try it another day and if it doesn't stop, I will be returning it. I don't want to because I love everything else about the monitor. Forth time before I could press the submit button

Monitor arrived in decent exterior condition--a few nicks and scratches but nothing serious. But just like the reviewer called "LUCKY", after about an hour of use the monitor would randomly shut off and I'd have to reset the power button to get it to turn on again. Also like "LUCKY", this problem kept intensifying with use--to the point where the monitor became unusable as it would shut down (go into sleep mode, maybe, I don't know?) every few minutes. Come to think of it, maybe when LUCKY returned his, they sent it to me (without fixing it). Highly un-recommended.

I already had a Dell U2413 that I had purchased new from Dell. I used it for processing my photographs as it came calibrated for sRGB and also supported AdobeRGB. I paired it with a smaller, cheaper monitor. I purchased this refurbished monitor for significantly less than I spent on my original U2413 and it looks and performs identically. I am very pleased with it.

I was a little weary buying a refurb monitor; But, this arrived in perfect condition and I was able to calibrate it within factory specifications. 97% sRGB and a lower abodeRGB percentage. Perfect for designers and hobbyist photographers. The screen has really good view angles and no bleed as of yet.

This was one of the first affordable wide gamut monitors available. I bought a renewed version. Works great.

The monitor is working well and compatible with my MacBook. Although I got a stand which is not quite right for this monitor, the seller was very concerned and sent the replacement rapidly.
