Soft, Comfortable and Sound Great!
I have a Focusrite Scarlett Solo USB and wanted a nicer headset to pair with it. I play a lot of Escape from Tarkov and needed the highest quality sound I could get for directional audio. These headphones knock it out of the park. They are very comfortable to wear for a long period of time, the audio quality is amazing, the length of the cord is almost too long because I have ran it over with my chair a few times (oops). Overall, worth the price and made me curious on how much more I can get out of it if I had a better audio interface.

durable
So I have owned these headphones for 3 years. I primarily use them for gaming and my work pc. The sound continues to works as if they were new. All moving components continue to functions as expected. Overall, the product is very durable. I don't see them falling apart or malfunctioning any time soon. The only thing I have replaced was the ear padding. They felt a bit too still with time and became noticeably dirty. The material that covers the over the head padding began to rip in all places, so I removed it completely. As far as the sound quality, they are more on the treble side of the spectrum. In any case the sound can be easily adjusted with an equalizer. I mainly appreciate them because they do a good job at blocking out exterior noise ( for the most part ) and the sound coming from the headphones are not audible to my surroundings.

Good studio headphones for the price and for starters, don’t expect much
Let’s address the elephant in the room: DT 770 Studio; This are a decent/good headphones for studio music and starters, it has really good punch and mostly crisp in miss and highs and lacks a little of bass but not that bad, the fit also depends what type of ear you have, for me it bothers a little after a few hours and it can get annoying; they are not heavy at all and the cord length is long and kinda of bulky but needed for studio, you’ll need some cable management tho and they are sticky. I must say that the 770 pro are fairly better and the 990 would be more recommended so it bleeds a little and you are not over saturated with the punchiness and crisp mid and highs that this 770 studio has at higher volume. My main issue is the sound quality when listening to different files of music, specially mp3, yes I know it’s not lossless and neither open back headphones, but when I listen the same mp3 music on my $19 apple earbuds, they sound much clearer and spaced and better than the 770 studio which can get overwhelming because you have to test which audio is a better mp3 quality than the other, sometimes even extremely good quality audio files are not as crisp as others. Probably it’s just me using this 80 ohms headphones with a 250 ohm interface? Hope it helps

Wired headphones is the way to go for your desktop needs.
Excellent product. I bought it on a recommendation from a friend in the editorial field. These quality, wired headphones get rid of all latency issues with your audio. They sound fantastic without any noice cancelling gimmicks.

Seriously comfortable
I use these as reference headphones when I cannot blast my monitor speakers. These are great for the price range but not completely flat. I master a lot of music with them and after a bit of “getting use to” there fantastic for my taste. Highs are quite sharp (bright) but I find this to be a good thing as they are clear and shimmery and I know I which sounds / tracks with a lot of high frequencies need to be attenuated accordingly so the highs are not overbearing on speakers. I am happy, and for the price range will be as well if a decently flat set is what you are looking for listen to music is also still enjoyable. These are not bass heavy “listening headphones” but for mastering I find the low end right and accurate and they translate perfectly in my option. Mids can get a bit underwhelming but after a few hours you can sort that out consistently after a few hours of getting use to them.

Absolutely Phenomenal!
I am a professional voice over artist and these 80-ohm headphones are by-far the best quality & sound I have ever experienced in 45 years of work! The quality of the sound is unmatched and the range from highs to lows is incredible. Music as well as instrumentals as well as vocals are the absolute best you could expect. The noise cancellation is about 97% which is awesome. The build on the headset is wonderful. I had a set of Burl Wood Elites that were as good but very heavy on the head. Those cost in the thousands. This model from Beyerdynamic brings the 2-thousand-dollar quality into an affordable product. The weight is perfect. Not too heavy and not too light. I use mine on average 8 hrs. per day 6x a week, so product weight is a big factor. Trust me, these are easy to use for the entire day! The muffs are so incredibly comfortable due to the velour covers and the actual ear-to-speaker distance (inside the ear cover) ratio. Your ears will not get crushed with these. The cord is plenty long enough for mobility in the studio or simply wound up for desk duty. The dual plug capabilities are very convenient for various equipment needs (amps, compressors, etc.). I give these headphones a true 5* and then some. HIGHLY recommend.

Had to buy an amplifier for decent sound
Without an amplifier its like listening to the sound on a laptop. Even after the amplifier it doesnt have as much bass as my previous cheaper headphones.

First step into the audiophile world - Amazing!
-= SOUND =- Plugged these headphones into both a 3.5mm AUX port and into my Stereo Receiver. I by no means am any kind of audiophile or enthusiast. My prior experience to these were a $90 pair of bluetooth headphones. With that being said, they have such a rich tone. They don't have a lot of bass and feel much more flat in nature which feels like it's by design. They seems to focus ever so slightly more towards the higher notes. Even with just the plug and play settings, they sound great! If you're a linux user like myself, boot up EasyEffects or PulseEffects and tune these. Most phones can also EQ now and you can use some applications on windows and Mac to do the same. I'd recommend driving it with a small amp or stereo receiver to ensure the best response. If you got the juice for them, they can handle anything you throw at them. Regardless, they sound great out of the box and on a standard 3.5mm AUX port. With a little EQ and maybe some sort of amplifier, they have so much potential. It's actually insane. My personal assessment on their sound (Adds up to 100) Bass: 32 Mids: 33 Treble: 34 -= Build Quality and Comfort =- Let me just say that a massive reason I bought these was for the build quality and comfort. Yes, I did want something that sounded better than the sub $100 bluetooth headphones I had been getting, but the plastic frames they had that kept snapping were driving me insane. Not that I can really blame them because they were worn for 8+ hours a day especially during COVID. These headphones I have put through a similar crucible and they show absolutely no signs of giving in. I've had them on for 6+ hours most days and put them on and take them off probably 5+ times a day. I'm a software developer and a student so you can imagine I've used them for everything from media to conferencing. They don't grip my head too hard and the stack ear pads are very comfortable. I seldom feel any discomfort from them. I have fallen asleep in my chair while listening to music with them on MANY times. They haven't worn down, they haven't hurt, they're perfect for me and I'd buy them again in a heartbeat. If you were in the place where I was, trying to build up the courage to drop $200+ on a these to finally be rid of the cheap headphone curses and troubles, I'd say do it. I highly doubt you'll regret it.

The best headphones I have ever tried, (And I have tried a LOT of headphones).
I've used a ton of different headphones over the years, but the DT 770s have honestly left me speechless. These headphones bring out sounds in my favorite tracks that I didn’t even know existed. The surround sound is truly magnificent. If you are looking for a gaming headphone for the same price as this one, Please buy this one, It's better than a LOT of gaming headphones in the same price range in terms of surround sound. The bass is clear and deep without overpowering the mids or highs, and I find myself picking up on details I usually missed. It feels like hearing everything for the first time. The comfort level is unmatched too—long sessions don’t feel tiring, and the build quality is so solid that they feel like they’ll last forever. Plus, the isolation is incredible; I can completely lose myself in the music without distractions. It does kinda leak out some sounds in higher volumes, but I wouldn't mind it since I have it half the volume (and it's still loud). If you’re even a little bit on the fence, just go for it. I’ve tried everything from budget to premium models, and I’d recommend the DT 770s over all of them without hesitation!
