Update 3 (January 2020): After 3 failed attempts at getting the revised case last year i decided to just wait. I ordered it again this month and now I'm quite happy to say my case no longer blocks the undocumented sensor and prevents it from recognizing iris. Rating changed to 5 starsUpdate 2: I was reached out to by the company and was told that they were in the midst of remaking the case so that it didn't cover the extra sensor.Update: So I did quite a bit of digging and found this isn't entirely on the case makers. It seems samsung didn't document this sensor... anywhere. It appears to only be on certain models (mine is the SM-T830) like the 256GB Wifi version, it's honestly almost invisible. It appears like a slight discoloration on the tablet, and when covered it stops all iris recognition, despite the iris scanner being the left most sensor. I tested it without the case being on, iris recognition works. I put the case back on, iris recognition stops working. So i took the case off and covered it with my thumb and iris recognition didn't work until i took my thumb away from it.If this wasn't an issue? 5* product no doubt. It is the best case on the market and seems to be the only one with a kickstand that allows for both landscape AND portrait mode viewing, it's one of maybe 2 cases that are 3 piece protection, and doesn't come with a built in screen protector. The case is solid, iris scanner works, as it appears from prior reviews this would be the updated case. My only complaint, as trivial as it may be, is that this in no way even has a purplish hue to it. It's pure navy and pink. Looks good together but it was supposed to help differentiate it from the other tab that is in navy. Its identical to it. Kind of bummed, I was expecting a purple

I needed a sturdy and reliable protective case for the Galaxy S4 tablet I bought for my 5year old and this case is perfect for the job. The only negative thing about the case is that it covers one of the camera/sensors at the top of the tablet that is used for the iris scan. Because of that issue Im not able to use that particular feature on the tablet. However it’s definitely not a dealbreaker so I would still recommend this case.

This case is very sturdy and durable. It does a good job protecting my new tablet. It actually gives life to the tablet. I get so many compliments

Didn't fit my daughter's tablet, so now I'm out money.

Love the case and it's pretty on my tablet.. just didnt like that it dont have a stylus holder.
