The car is well worth the price, it is fast, and it has some better control over the two wheel drive cars of the same class. It doesn’t spin out of control all the time, cutting donuts when you are not trying to, and the surface of course makes a difference. On the concrete, it will grab hold and stick very well, and the 4 wheel drive actually gives it superior power to drive on air when hitting the dirt track. It handles the bumps and pot holes well enough that it only tipped over once. The power and speed is there. The battery configuration is an obvious up-grade that is shown differently in the manual, it is nice to have a power pack that is modular, leaving out the extra charger thing and two loose batteries as before. Now the battery pack is wrapped into one with a charging cable protruding, and you have to choose the left side of the car in order for the removable latch door to snap and lock in place. Overall, it a rough truggie, with knobby tires that can take on all the terrain, as pictured below I have the the all in one place to run it wide open on both surfaces indefinately. You have to fine tune the trim to launch the car in a straight path, it is super sensitive. And I like the ability to peel off a layer of plastic over the shell, it makes it all shiny new again after skids and flipovers. I like it. It’s dope.

My six years old son and I are having a lot of fun with this 1/24 scale crawler. It packs a lot of bang for your buck and doesn’t disappoint. It has independent shock system, Four-wheel independent suspension system & Tri-axial differential; this means that your crawler will flex more, therefore conforming to the angle of the terrain better.The radio system for this crawler is a 2.4 GHz system; so you won’t have to worry about frequency jamming. You and others can all run your crawlers at the same time.It also features a rechargeable 1-cell 700 mA lithium battery, allowing you to get 15 to 20 minutes on a single charge, with a charge time of two hours. If you plan on playing for a while, it might be a good idea to buy more than one battery pack, and make sure you have one charging as another cools and one in the car. Even so, you won’t be able to get as much play time as you would likely want.I wish it were waterproof or water resistant; so don’t drive it through snow or in rainy conditions. I’m planning to install FPV system on it and test its high speed (24 mph), and the maximum radio range (165 Feet).

Bought as a birthday present for son. It' a nice looking offroad truck. He enjoyed o play with. Easy to play for a 6 years old. Hand trigger remote is almost the same size of the truck itself! Truck is smaller than pictured. A nice gift for 6 years or older, not recommended for anyone younger! Make the truck bigger is a must. Wonder the engineer designed it thought who will be their audiences! Boys rule the car toy market.

 The remote control car is fun to play. It’s charged through a usb plug in. You will need to unmount the clips from the plastic cover to charge the battery. The remote control requires 3 AA batteries.

I purchased this for my son, we put some batteries in the remote and then wow! the RC car is very fast and powerful. steering servos are perfect. everything is good about this. the suspension quality is nothing less than the name brands. at the end of the day, I guess it was more for myself than my son.

Bought it as a gift to my little one for holiday. Haven’t sent him yet. I bet he will love it as he is big fan for different kinds of cars. Will say more once he plays with it.

The truck exceeded expectations. I would suggest an age group beyond first grade , however. It's a sophisticated toy.
