Well made replacement

Bought these to replace the sand filled bollards that my ladderball set came with. Those were soft, but kept leaking sand all over the place.These bollards are harder. I'd say more like golf balls with a hole drilled through them and connected by poly rope. If you're playing with kids or someone with anger issues then you might get hurt if hit by these :D*Pro Tip* Before using these you'll want to make the rope knot larger. I've had their knots pull through and then have to restring them. Making it a larger knot fixed that issue.

Good quality and string length

These are dangerous and very poorly made. We have had ladderball for years and needed replacement bolas. I bought this set based on the reputation of the Franklin brand. They looked fine, but as soon as we started to play with them, the rope came out and the golf ball-hard balls would go rogue and hit other things. No sooner would we repair one, by reinserting and knotting the rope, than another would fly off the rope while being tossed to the ladder. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the rope then began to do a crazy thing I don’t have a photo of. The rope is a tighter weave rope in its center with a looser weave around the center. The looser weave released itself from within the ball and slid up the center part of the rope. I had guests visiting from out of town and these ruined ladder ball for us while they were visiting. Now Amazon is making me return these lousy stringless balls without a box to Staples in order to get a $12.00 refund. It is wrong! I would give them less than 1 star were it possible.

I purchased a ladder ball set from Walmart the other day. Took it out to play with company and one of the ladder balls string was too short to even throw it..I was happy to find replacements that were all the right size string and brand here on line so the game can continue!

When these arrived I realized they're not a soft plastic but a hard plastic so I tried to return for fear of someone or something might get hit/hurt with this harder plastic but this seller had me just keep them & refunded me. I'll use them for a back up set.
