Works! Grateful.
So I’ve had cats my entire life- all of them have come from shelters at different stages of life. About three weeks ago I adopted another two adult cats, both of them special needs. One has an issue where when it gets stressed it gets bladder problems. The other is severely traumatized from a tragic incident with its previous owner. Both had been at the shelter for months due, in part, to their unique circumstances. About a week after I brought them home I ordered this collar because I actually needed help with them. I’ve never tried a calming collar before, and based on the reviews, natural ingredients and price decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did. The collar works in a subtle way, but definitely makes a big difference - in both cats! The pee cat has calmed her anxiety down significantly in the week that she has been wearing the collar; hasn’t had any accidents, and is right at home - she made an amazingly fast transition to our household living (5 cats, 1 dog, 1 bunny, 16 yard chickens + humans). She plays with the other animals and climbs into our laps for cuddles. The traumatized cat is who truly needed this collar most. For over a week it didn’t move or look at me, head down hiding under the bed hissing when I got too close. It only came out at night to eat, drink, use the litter box. I put the collar on and within hours it had come out from under the bed to look around. It’s been about a week now with the collar and this once terrified cat is still scared, but has made outstanding progress. Every night he now comes out from under the bed for hugs, chin scratches and to play with the others. These things are subtle but huge positive changes. The collar is kinda like a safety blanket just giving some padding to help the animal overcome emotional or mental challenges. I’m glad I bought it and highly recommend. Its help is subtle, but it definitely helped both these cats.

I swear by these!
Used these a couple of times now. Once for my very anxious kitty when I went on vacation and once for both my cats when we moved apartments. I see a significant difference in acclimation and behavior when my cats are wearing this during stressful times. For example - my first vacation away from them, post-covid (quarantine kitties), one of my cats was vomiting every meal she ate, clawing furniture and meowing constantly. After having the sitter put one of these on her, she was cuddling up to the sitter, holding down her meals and her meowing and scratching got much better (she still does that even during non stressful times). After returning from my trip, my cat decided to take the collar off herself after about an hour of me being home. During my move - both cats wore it and gave me no problems. After about 2 days with the collar on in my new apartment they both were scratching at the collars so I took them off al voila! They’re completely acclimated (only some minor spooks from its noise). Overall, great product. Would recommend this over the plug-ins as I’m not sure if those have as much of an impact. Plus I love that my cats can tell me when they’re ready to take the collars off because they’re feeling good. They hate the smell of the plug ins (I don’t smell them, but they avoid them at all costs).

Seemed to help my cat during recovery.
Ok, I wanted to make sure to give this a 2 cat test. I started with my older cat who was going through a stressful situation having several teeth pulled. The second kitty I tested this on is our other rescue who is only a little over a year old probably and is a ball of energy. Findings: The older cat did appear to go through his recovery period a little smoother. The younger one, seemed to mellow out just a bit but did not stay that way for long. However, it may have been that it had reached the end of its month of efficacy because she tested it after the older cat and the collar does say 1 month. Now the collar itself: as you see in the last picture you can see these little protruding pieces. Well these were attaching this section of the collar to the other as it arrives in a coiled. I assume that is how the mold is poured. May sound idiotic but I wasn't quite sure if i was supposed to take these all the way off or not because the collar just has a set of fixed pieces through which you would pass through the piece to tightened to desired size. I thought maybe those raised pieces would help keep at the desired tightness so I tried it that way on 1st cat. They did not seem to bother him whatsoever, honestly. On the second cat, I trimmed these off all the way with a pair of scissors to see if it would stay on the cat...which it did. Final thought on this, works either way and my cat didn't seem to care. Still, my preference is for a smooth surface if I am being totally honest. Final thoughts: All of these types of calming helpers for your pet seem to be pet dependent in many cases. So it really is a try, try, try again type thing. When you find one that works for your pet, then it is a keeper. They all cost around same thing give or take a few dollars. I gave this item 4 stars because it seemed to work to varying degrees on each cat and the little mold things...not being clearly informed if these are supposed to stay on or off. It is a minor thing but hey, if you haven't ever purchased one before, you would like to know for sure. I am thankful that it seemed to help my older cat through his recovery though.

DANGER!!! READ before you buy!
Yes, I believe it works and yes, I think it almost killed my cat. My boyfriend and I were sleeping and he woke up because he heard a weird sound. I realized it was my cat violently gaging and shaking in the corner of the room. I thought he was either vomiting or having a seizure, which he has never had before. After I turned the light on and looked closer the collar had loosened enough for him to get his jaw through(I’m sure it was in an effort to get it off) and his jaw was pushed so far open that it was enough where it was pushing on his wind pipe and he couldn’t breathe. I was able to pull it off. I was furious and immediately threw the collar in the trash. I was also incredibly grateful that he was not in another part of the house when this happened and we were able to hear him. This is NOT a break away collar. Before I bought this, I read about a woman finding her cat with blood all over with the same issue. With the rave reviews I thought it was a fluke and still wanted to give it a try. The collar didn’t seem to bother him for two weeks. He didn’t try to pull it off and he seemed calmer, less crying at night. After this happened I looked at other collars to buy and they all seem to have the same size adjusters that can open or lock. Because it worked I am going to glue it on to a REAL break away collar and I hope you do the same. I also hope the company sees this review and updates their design because this will happen to another cat, please glue it on a real break away collar to keep your cat safe! I don’t ever write reviews but I cant believe how easily this could have been fatal and I don’t want this to happen to anyone else.

My opinion
It worked great to calm my cat down but caused a hot spot dermatitis on her neck, so if u use this product keep a eye on your cats neck.

The collars win again!!
I am writing reviews for both the cat and dog calming collar as we purchased both. I waited to post the reviews because we wanted to try a plethora of products to see what truly worked in and for our household.. and the collar wins HANDS DOWN! Wednesday, the cat, is 7 years young and very set in his ways. Prior to us adopting Rox, the dog, Wednesday had never been around any other animals aside from cats. In August Rox came into our house/our lives and it was extremely rough making adjustments.. especially for the cat. Bless his heart. We tried everything from CBD to treats to diffusers to, of course, the collars. The collars made a peaceful home! The two are slowly gelling together and I truly believe the collars are the reason for that. Aside from the smell (which none of us were fond of), they’re perfect.. and the smell subsides after some time. It just let us know something was taking affect. As you can see in the photo of Wednesday, that was two days after putting his collar on. To say he was relaxed is an understatement and he chose to express that when the photo was taken. THANK YOU FOR THIS PRODUCT! We now stay stocked!

It worked!!!
I bought this for my cat because he was ruining my life with his b.s. I recently got him neutered but to my surprise it could take up to 6 weeks to see behavior issues lessen. We were still going thru this terrible howling at night, he was sometimes spraying, and he was bullying my other cat. I bought these collars after reading most of the reviews available on it. Immediately upon receiving them I put one on said cat. He didn't like it at first and kept twitching, scratching at it, and trying to get it off but after a few hours he was completely different cat. I'm noticing he still sniffs around like he wants to spray, so I also bought the same brand contact spray in hopes that helps more with that. But the howling and bullying has completely stopped, infact he lays with my other cat now. My only complaint is the material. The way you have to cut and unroll the hard plastic collar makes it uncomfortable for kitty, luckily, I don't care for this cat and simply don't care. It keeps his kitty butt in check and that's all that matters. I'm going to try to put a normal collar underneath the next month's dose and see if that lessens his discomfort. If your cats behavior is driving you nuts try this! It's inexpensive way to treat only the cat that needs it versus the diffuser which treats all cats in the home.

Worked....very briefly
It worked for maybe a week at best but now our cats are back to fighting, yowling, and urinating and pooping outside of the litterbox. May try a different product by the company, but will be using Therapet Diffusers in future.

Worked for one cat, not the other..
It worked on my older (10yr old) cat, totally relaxed him for a recent house move and he's been calm since. However, the younger cat (4yr old) it did not work at all. He hated the collar and I suspect had sun allergic response to it as he lost a lot of hair where the collar was. I definitely put it on correctly, but it looks like I've shaved him in the shape of a collar. Very weird. I'll be ordering more for the older cat.

Really really impressed
I wasn't sure if they would 100% work but after using them for a couple of months I can confirm they definitely do! One of our girls is a bit sensitive to... well everything... so I thought I'd try these after the plugins not really doing much for her. I hadn't realised just how much they were working until she started spraying again the other day and I realised it was because her collar needed changing to a new one. Within 24hours of changing it to the new one she's stopped weeing on things again and she curled up in my lap all purry. Honestly so happy with these, it's nice to have our happy purry girl back. They do absolutely stink when you first get them out but she gets used to it quickly and i'm really not concerned that they're too strong for her as we left the collar loose enough for her to get it off if needed and she never even tried.

They work!
We used these on our 2 cats for our house move. One cat is particularly timid and hides all day and only comes out for food. Since putting his collar on her she's been so much confident and is out, playing and cuddling us after 4 years of having her! I decided not to replace the collar just to test it, it's now been 5 weeks so the collar needs replacing and low and behold, she is starting to hide again... so they very clearly do work. No adverse side effects with either cat either.
