Easy install, great product.
I used these on my Sun Tracker Fishin Barge trailer. It's funny, one of the product images is my exact trailer. My trailer is a 2016 and the wood had rotted already. I live in NM and bought it used out of Kansas where it's more humid. I am not a fan of carpet, though I know it has been used for years (my grandfather did upholstery for a living, so I helped him with a lot of boats growing up). I was pointed in the direction of this product and decided to go with it. My only complaint, why didn't I think of this!I was able to change all of my outside bunk boards at home. I just had to change the two long runners at the lake (pictured) with the boat off the trailer. I know most people will have to do this at the lake. In one of the pictures the bunk is dirty. It is not wear and tear on the wrap. It's dry and dusty where I live. This was actually the first time I had the boat off the trailer since I installed the new wood and wrap. For the installation I changed a few things from the OEM setup. The OEM setup came with lag bolts. I kept losing them on the highway due to the deteriorated wood. I decided to use countersunk carriage bolts this time. Hillman makes an anti-turn washer that I used to keep the carriage bolt from turning. I bought these local hardware store. I couldn't find them here. The same with the bolts. I also used treated lumber from a major retailer. I was told that the chemicals used in treated wood today do not etch aluminum anymore. That's a bonus, but even with these wraps drying so fast and not keeping the wood soaked like carpet, I shouldn't have that problem anyways.I used a drill bit to drill the holes for the 3/8 carriage bolts to go through. After that, I used a 1 1/8 spade bit to make the "recessed" hole for my washer and carriage bolt. You do not want the head of the bolt rubbing your boat bottom. I am adding pictures to help. Once the bolts were installed, follow the directions included for attaching the bunk wrap. My only regret is probably using the galvanized bolts/lock washers/nuts. I probably should have used stainless steel. However, that shouldn't be too hard to change out in the future, as the wraps just unscrew. I hope this helps.

Works well, tough to install but works if you follow directions
I replace the entire 6 rail bunk system on my trailer with new marine treated 2x6's which I covered with this product and installed. It is not an easy product to install, but if you watch the YouTube videos and read the directions, it isn't too difficult for the average person to do. It is critical to understand how to wrap the material around the bunks using the velcro holding straps provided, there is no way to get the stiff material to confirm to the wood otherwise. Once I figured that out, it went on well, tight and solid, and I did it by myself, the velcro strap does a great job of pulling the material tight against the wood so you can screw it down, then you just keep moving along to the end. Note that the cautions about scratching your hull are valid, this is not soft material like carpet. I would NOT use this on a painted hull, but on my 14 year-old gelcoat hull a few scratches don't matter to me. I would buy this again.

Work great, see photos
The product itself is fine, was not too difficult to install. MAKE SURE THAT quality marine grade or treated wood is used. I also applied weather sealer to the 2X4X8 lumber. Let it set in warm building a week to cull out any that warped or bowed. Of 10 used, 2 were culled. Also applied stainless staples with the plastic along with the stainless screws to secure and keep from buckling in the sun.

I never write reviews but after my experience with this product for two months i felt compelled to. I installed these to replace my carpet bunks in June. I recently decided to see how they were doing under my brand new boat. Little to say except they took the paint right off my boat. The white stuff on the bunks is paint. If your boat is not painted these would probably work but they still scratch the surface. Stick with the carpet!

Product seems very durable.
Good product, worked very well.I would give it 5 stars but the stainless screws arent great. I didnt use the screws, I used stainless staples. Much easier to install. I bought 4 kits to replace the carpet on my pontoon trailer. I used all 8 velcro straps from the 4 kits on the board at once. I did it by myself. I did watch utube videos first. Got the idea to use staples from a trailer manufacturer from a video. Check some friends trailers and they were all stapled. Havent loaded or unloaded the boat yet to check if does have less friction than carpet.

Do not buy this it is a good concept and may work when they install from factory ...
Do not buy this, it is a good concept and may work when they install from factory but this "kit" is horrible. Don't know if I can return it but I will try. First I live in AZ it was 109 degrees today. I was hoping this would be an advantage because this roll needs to wrap around a 2x4. No way. I let it sit in the sun for hours and still could get it to lay flat, and wrap around a 2x4, forget it. Then the screws, it comes with 16, there are about 36 holes but not enough screws. The screws do not have big enough heads. If I touch this plastic they start popping out of there whole. I was about to launch it like a freaking javelin. Then the plastic piece they give you is randomly cut from a huge role. So you have to cut it in half, BUT the holes are distributed right so you get on piece with a couple screw holes near the ends (good) then the other piece is totally put of wack with a foot of loose plastic with no screw holes. Do not buy this product.

Great solution
It was past time to replace our boat trailers bunk carpet, but we wanted to do it ourselves. The thought of spending a couple hundred dollars to have to do it again in a couple years didn't sit well. Finally found this stuff and with the assistance of some saw horses and an electric staple gun, this stuff went on great. We used the hook and loop straps to tighten the material for stapling and varied the staple direction (since we couldn't get the recommended size staples). Looks great, boat loads easier, and it certainly will last longer!

Not as easy as it looks
First, I thought the material would be more rubber like...it's more plastic.I found that any deviation in the boards had quite an affect on the application and smoothness of the result; the material is quite rigid, especially length wise.Be sure to measure your boards, twice, there is no extra material to play with.Creasing the folds and hammering them with a sledge hammer made things easier. The material is wavy? The screws are pretty heavy duty, so instead of compromising the wood so many times I opted for stainless steel staples. It covers quite a bit of the board, not a lot of room for drainage.

Great product. Read my review for easy install
Product great. I see some people had installation issues. Unroll cover and place on 2 X 4 then leave in the sun. after an hour they wrap right around board. Screw on and perfection.

Installs easily and works well
Excellent installation instructions enabled installation in about 1hr 20min. Tip... lay the cover out in the sun for 19-15 min before installing to take the roll out, so that the cover lies flat. This product worked very well for facilitating the launch and recovery of our 15' aluminum fishing boat.
