My wife loves this curling iron. The only issue she has is the setting adjuster. The settings are located under the handle, and the arrow that tells you what setting you are on is a very tiny black arrow against a shiny gold back. If the arrow was a bit bigger and a color that stood out more, it would be easier to know what setting you are on.

The media could not be loaded. My hair is finally getting a few inches past my shoulders, so I ordered a larger curling iron - the 1 and 1/4 in barrel. Posting pictures of the curl as I feel like that’s the unknown. I typically get an extremely pricey titanium plated straightener as anything less is going to leave my hair fried looking. This curling iron is a fraction of the cost and is just as smoothing, without straightening it first and glides easily through your hair. I especially like the little legs on the end that allow me to sit it on my counter without worry of burning my house down as the heated part remains off the surface. I don’t place a mat under it and can keep it on for over 30 minutes without a concern of destroying my bathroom countertop.

It didn't last that long (a little over a year). I've had others that have lasted years. It lights up but does not get hot any longer.I really did not care for the design of the temperature gauge--it is a dial that spins which I would accidentally spin in the normal operation of the device. Otherwise I liked the unit and it ran smooth against my hair as I curled it.

I have wavy hair and this curling iron makes the most beautiful big curls.

This is the worst curling iron I have used yet. The screws stick out so far on the left and right that your hair gets stuck and ripped out of your head. The handle is super slippery so where are you drop it and burn yourself. And there’s no coating on the metal like they say there is and your hair just starts to burn and gets stuck. You would think conair would make better product. Horrible
