Warms the bathroom for shower time, just right!
We try to keep the heating to a minimum - keeps the bills down, reduces our energy footprint, and just seems a good idea to not be generally wasteful, but showers and baths can get a bit chilly during the winter months. We hate to heat up the entire house just to make the short time during bathing a bit more comfortable - one of the drawbacks of whole house central heating. We had a small electric heater that has served this purpose for many years, but this fall, it just wouldn't heat any longer, so, we did a search for a replacement. This is perfect! Very simple operation - on, off, high, low, all one really needs. It has a suitably small footprint, so that it doesn't take up a lot of floor space or get in the way of normal traffic in a small room. I was very impressed that this company has had the wisdom to sidestep the current trend to "bedazzle" everything with expensive electronics which increase the price, provide all sorts of "features" that never get used by anybody, use energy to operate - increasing the operating costs - and ultimately fail very quickly, rendering the heater useless long before it's expected life is over. This device does not have clocks, timers, led displays, multiple blinking colored lights, chimes, wifi connections or any of those other useless features - THANK GOODNESS! That is why we chose this efficient, simple to operate, heater. It DOES have a "tip over shutoff switch" which turns the heater off if it gets tipped over. While we will probably never need it, that seems an appropriate safety feature and very necessary if you have small children or pets that might accidentally tip it over - it is quite small. It works as described, heats the bath nicely, doesn't use a great deal of energy, it is PERFECT!

Small, quiet and works.
Works well in a 6x6 half bath in unhealed garage. We use it to keep temps up just so water won't freeze. May not be needed but it adds peace of mind.

Big Power In A Small Package
This product functions very well. I turned it on for 15 minutes and it literally fully warmed two rooms. There is no oscillation feature, however, the fan is very strong and blows out a lot of warm, cozy heat. I suggest purchasing a surge protector as well from Amazon to control the electric flow. Very good product for the price. Warms like a large space heater.

Great
Works great for a little heater. It makes a little noise, but my dad likes a little noise while sleeping. Blows a lot of heat even on low mode. Highly recommend.

Nice size and throws some nice heat!
Has a lot of heat for a little heater! I use it in the bathroom because nothing is more miserable than coming out of a hot shower into a freezing bathroom in the winter. This mighty little heater makes the bathroom nice and toasty. It also turns itself off whenever it even slightly is not in the upright position.

Good little heater.
Black & Decker stuff is usually pretty good. They have to protect their name. Great for the bathroom, which is what I got it for. I've had little heaters like this for years. Quiet, no odd noises or vibrations. 3 setting. Fan only, 750w and 1500w heat. No change in fan speed. You may have to turn the thermostat up to get it to come on. It's no really a thermostat, exactly. All the little heaters use the same one. If it doesn't stay on long enough, turn it up. Don't trust it to turn off. Turn it off yourself when you're through. Nice little heater.

Fan is weak and does not push the heat
I purchased this ceramic space heater hoping to create a cozy, warm environment under my desk during chilly days. While it does offer some useful features, it ultimately failed to meet my expectations. Here's my detailed take:ProsCompact Design: The heater is small and easy to place under a desk or in a confined area.Quiet Operation: It runs quietly, which is ideal for work or study environments.Adjustable Settings: The heater comes with adjustable heat and fan settings, allowing you to control the temperature and airflow.ConsIneffective Heat DistributionDespite the adjustable settings, the fan doesn’t generate enough power to push heat beyond a very short distance. This means it doesn’t create a consistent or noticeable path of warmth, leaving my feet cold and the space above underwhelming.Limited Impact Under the DeskThe warmth barely reaches my feet or the immediate area around them. Even at the highest settings, it feels like the heat gets lost in the surrounding air, making it ineffective for under-desk heating.Underpowered FanWhile it’s nice to have adjustable fan settings, the fan itself feels underpowered. Even at the highest setting, the airflow is weak and fails to distribute the heat in a way that makes a difference.Suggestions for ImprovementIncrease the fan power to push heat farther and create a concentrated warmth zone.Optimize the design for targeted heating, especially for small spaces like under desks.Improve heat intensity to ensure the adjustable settings deliver more noticeable warmth.Final ThoughtsAlthough this heater has adjustable settings and runs quietly, those features don’t compensate for its inability to provide meaningful warmth where it’s needed most. For anyone looking to warm their feet or a small workspace, this heater is unlikely to meet expectations.Rating: ★★☆☆☆It’s compact and customizable, but the lack of effective heat distribution makes it fall short of its purpose.
