Polyanswer Head/Skull Protective Cap

I bought this to put under a helm for SCA fighting, because the rugby headcap was stiff and uncomfortable, particularly the chin strap and ears. This cap falls either just over the tips of my ears, or just under them if I untuck them. It keeps my hair securely out of my eyes and it's fairly comfortable and adjusts.When I read the listing and looked at the photos, I expected kind of a solid cap piece, but it's actually four triangles of the impact gel between stretchy fabric. The gel has a tiny bit of stretch, and the fabric moves freely over it and has a lot of stretch. I tried it out in combat today, and I've got no complaints, although I have no idea whether it stiffens on impact. It's pretty squishy to the touch and seems very breathable. You can see from my pictures a little more detail about it.

Slightly heavy to wear. It is as expected otherwise.

I have been hitting my head hard on a low entry way in my new home. This cap solved that problem. I hardly notice when I hit it now. And this cap is much more comfortable than wearing my bicycle helmet around the house.

Great and cool stuff, fit like gloves in my head. Make me confident when I bike and sweat dont come to my eyes (I use soft lenses)

We used this to replace a hard helmet for someone who normally wore a toboggan. It worked well and provided needed protection.

Bought for grandson to use during football... had not worn in game yet. He says it is comfortable

This is good but I have a bald head and a head that remains hot in rain conditions and found this is okay but if worn for a long time made my head sweat

This product was ideal for my needs. I fell and seriously cut my head (13 stitches) whilst playing badminton and was advised to wear some protection for a few months when I returned to playing. This product fitted the bill and was comfortable to wear.

I use this product to protect my head as my son has challenging behaviour and is prone to headbutting. The cap is excellent as it folds up so I can put it in a pocket.
