I wanted a lock that has easy to read digits, a front facing combo, nice tactile and audible clicks when spinning the dials, and a nice sturdy feel. After trying a couple of other locks from different brands, I decided to give this one a try and I’m glad I did! This is by far my favorite combination lock I’ve used for all of the above reasons. I use it for my locker at work and it does the job perfectly. I also like that the dials/wheels can be accessed from both sides making them easier to grip and spin. Overall, if this lock lasts at least 6 months of daily use, I’ll be more than satisfied.

This is a great lock, especially for the money. Unlike the junky similar Master lock that it replaced, the thick solid metal hasp goes well into the body for a secure lock, the numbers are easy to read and turn easily, and it’s impossible to accidentally change your code.

Love these locks, I keep coming back to them. Love the reset lock feature that needs a cross tip to open. Makes me feel more secure about my belongings, will be using this as gym lock. Don’t want to stress or worry with keys.

I purchased this for my work locker primary due to aging eyes. My 30+ year old padlock’s numbers were wearing and difficult to see. This lock has an easy to set combo system and appears to be very well made. Most importantly to me, the numbers are extremely easy to read even in low light.

I purchased the black version of the FortLocks gym locker lock and just submitted an order for the orange version. What I really like about this lock is that the rotating numbers face you when opening the lock. This is a significant advantage when compared to locks where the numbers are facing sideways. Most sideways facing locks have smaller font size digits and it's sometimes difficult to turn the lock sideways. If the lighting is less than ideal, it's hard to see the numbers on sideways facing locks, especially when the numbers don't have a highly contrasting background. Not only does the FortLocks lock have a larger font size than most others, the contrast is very high. This lock weighs a little more than a dial style gym lock, but it gives the appearance of being exceptionally study. Instructions for setting a personal combination were included and easy to follow. I choose the black colored lock because I didn't want to draw anyones attention when using the lock at my gym. I ordered the orange color, for other purposes, where I want it to be easily noticed.

I wanted a new lock for the gym and decided to actually do a lot of research and I watched a loooot of lock cracker YouTube videos and read many reviews and this lock despite it's cheaper cost was one of the most well-respected and rated by professionals in the field. Especially compared to a lot of the locks people use in gyms that can be cracked in literally seconds.The only thing I don't like about the lock is that the combination numbers can be seen on either side of the lock which means if you put it down on a counter or bench, anyone can look and see the numbers. So I did tape over one side of the lock so that couldn't happen.

Great lock. I’ve had it outside for a year and no rust and dials rotate with ease! Would buy again.

I like this better than my prior Master Lock, which used a key, cause then I had to carry the key around with me when I was working out. It fits a gym locker hinge perfectly and is reasonably priced. I also like that you can put in your own combination, which makes it easy to remember.
