4 Beard Balm Variety Pack (1oz Each)

Keeps my beard manageable and I like the mild scents. A little goes a long way. I dig it.

My first time using a beard balm and I'm very impressed. First of all, I saw 1oz and assumed I'd only get 2-3 uses out of each product. I was amazed when I realized how little product you have to use and it lasts all day. I have a very thin and long haired beard so naturally my hairs would go everywhere. With this, right after the shower I rub a little on my finger tips, rub into my hands, and brush it through my beard and immediately I notice it soften up, and stay whatever direction I make it go. Great product!

I loved the smell of all four of them I do wish the scent was more powerful. Easy to get out and apply. I loved Majestic Oud.

I've gone thru so many brands of oils, creams, waxes, conditioners, and other beard care products trying to find the right ones. I have two problems when it comes to finding something would work for me. First, I don't like perfume-like smells that are really strong and artificial. This is especially true when it comes to putting stuff on my face! Unfortunately, the only products I'd found that really worked for me were products that had strong smells which brings me to my second issue. My beard has a lot of grey in it. Anyone with grey beard hair can probably attest to the fact that grey hair isn't like normal hair. It has a mind of its own. It tends to be more wiry and is extremely hard to control. Many of the more natural products I've found for my beard smell nice but just didn't do the job when it came to "taming the mane" so-to-speak. My beard would grow out looking like santa clause and would drive me nuts! After reading the reviews on "Viking Revolution" products I decided to go for it and purchased the "Viking Revolution Beard Care Kit for Men" and the "4-Beard Balm Variety Pack." I figured if I didn't like it I could give it to a friend. I am thrilled to report that I absolutely love it! The oil is totally scentless which is awesome because it does a great job of softening up your beard and then allowing you to use a balm of whatever flavor tickles your fancy without conflicting or strong smells. Which brings me to the smells! These are BY FAR the best smelling beard balms I have ever had the pleasure of putting on my face! They tame my beard down and smell so good that I want to just put a bunch of it up my nose and just leave it there! The Viking Revolution company has nailed the perfect formula for my tastes and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for fantastic beard care products!

i absolutely love this balm. it only leaves a light waxy feeling on your hands after you wash them. had others that seemed like i couldn't wash the balm off my hands. so this one is acceptable. so far all balms i've tried leave a little waxiness. this balm rubs to a really light oil. doesn't leave your beard oily, or weighted down. all in all a great balm. the smells are a little different story. they are not bad smells, but i have to agree they do remind me of bathroom air fresheners. again not bad smells at all, but i think they need to reformat it. really sure they would be far more popular if they did. the smells are not overly strong, they seem to last a good couple hours. the "bathroom" smell seems to fade and you don't get to caught up in it. i use these and several other balms in rotation, and i never feel i should avoid this brand. the four smells for me in order of favorite. 1) Bay rum: this one you will also be with. it is a smell you may have smelled from the air spritzers in bathrooms. it has kinda a cinnamon and bubblegum smell. i call it spicy bubblegum. i like this one the most. 2) Clary sage: this one kinda reminds me of camping candles. not the citronella ones, but the other kind. light pine like smell, almost berry, but not sweet, kinda sharp. honestly really like it, it is a close second. 3) Sandal wood: light woody smell. not saying sweet, but in the bright notes. 4) Cedar and pine: has kind of a sweet musky smell to it. don't want to say it, but it does smell like a new urinal cake. it isn't obnoxious. and again i like these balms. you can tell what i mean. it is a good smell, but just a smell that is common with something you may be familiar with. least favorite, but still use it here and there. it is really hard to write this. i love the product, but again i really think the company needs to work with someone to get their scents improved. they got the product, but i feel they skimped on the smells. i would have given them a 4, but i can't fault them to much just because the smell reminds me of something else. and honestly the smell grows on you.

*Updated* I am now onto my fourth order of this beard wax, it really is very good quality as well as value for money and is my go-to brand. Highly recommended. *Original review* With four 1oz pots at £15 when a single 2oz pot from the same brand is advertised on here at £18, this was a no brainer. My old pot of beard balm was running low, and I decided to try a different manufacturer. Really impressed, it is very soft and easy to get a small amount (use the back of your thumbnail, then massage into the balls of your thumbs and apply to your beard). I am using the 'Bay Rum' pot at the moment and it smells wonderful, a hint of ginger to it. The others I have had a sniff of and all smell good. sporting a goatee I reckon I have 6-12 months supply here, highly recommended to others.

It leaves the beard with a soft, silky texture which feels perfect. It takes some minutes to absorb, and while this process is ongoing, there is some shine to the beard. The smell on all of them is subtle and easy, never cheap and scandalous. Even the 'Cedar & Pine' which sounds like a cleaning agent has a delightful smell. Highly recommended!

Very good product and works well to control runaway mustache and beard hairs. The different scents are great and work well with various aftershaves. Makes a great stash!
