Super smooth shave, least chance of nicking yourself.
One of the best and the most underrated blades. I found it much smoother than the most overrated blades in the market the Gillette Wilkinson Sword and other popular brands. Topaz is Topaz been like this for ages.

Least expensive and serves as good as others!
Topaz is less aggressive than normal but very smooth shaving experience. On my Markur adjustable razor I had to just increase the number from 2.5 to 3 for smooth experience. I don’t shave against the grain.I have used Feather (Japan) and Parker (Indian) for a long time. Feather is unforgiving so I had to use it very carefully. They all three last almost the same and each one is a very good brand.(Now I use each side only once). So why spend a fortune when the same purpose can be served using a much less expensive blade?
