I have to admit, I was skeptical about deviating from the world of Percy Jackson and Greek mythology with this author. I am glad to have done so. This was a fantastic series. It was shorter by 2 books than many of his series, but it was a smart choice. It wasn't overdone, concluded on a wonderful note, and opened the door to a fascinating world with all kinds of possibilities. It was a wonderful journey. If you enjoyed the Percy Jackson books, give this series a try.

First, I haven’t read all 3 yet, but I read the first, and it was awesome. Just started the 2nd, and I noticed on page 11 a ‘typo’ of sorts that I also saw in the first book and wrote off as a ‘maybe it’s my mistake’. But after seeing it in the 2nd book too, I realized something that I have to call out. I think it’s my OCD that compels me to have a nagging feeling in the back of my head until I “set it right”. But anyways, I’ve noticed in both books that the author specifies something as horizontal, when he really clearly means vertical. Like on page 11 in book two, when referring to the Egyptian Gryphons wings being different looking because they are “horizontal”. And then it says something about how they must fly like a butterfly does. But butterflies fly with their wings vertical. That’s what makes their flying unique, although I think humming birds can do it too. In the first book, I think the same horizontal/vertical mixup happens when describing them going through a sand portal and that it looks like an hour glass. That one confused me for about 5 minutes until I finally decided it must be a typo. But I don’t remember the exact page of that one. I figured I would mention it just in case someone knows the publisher. Not important enough for me to take extra steps though lol. I do love the books so far tho. So please don’t allow something so silly and trivial to stop you from reading this wonderful book.

A very good read, with a really big plot! Books were delivered in good timing. A set of three (3) books. Consist of a read involving gods and a chaos snack. My 10year old loved this book set. With a godly family story.

I was waiting to buy this set for soooo long. And finally got the opportunity, really beautiful and it came in perfect condition

Haven't got to reading the books themselves, but I am a fan of Mr Riordian and so I'm sure that I'll love them. However. I am dam disappointed with yet another crappy cardboard box, after both my Olympians and Heroes box sets fell apart just from sitting on my shelf for less than a month.I suppose I'll just have to see how this set holds up, but I do wish that Mr Riordian's publishers were a little less cheap when it came to his books. The books themselves are great, but the collector's sets leave much to be desired.

Excited to get these since I’ve been on a journey to finish my Riordan collection! The box was pretty banged up upon arrival, however the books are perfectly fine so I can’t complain too much. A great series I’m looking forward to revisiting :)

Para uma primeira compra de livros em inglês, fiquei muito surpreso (negativamente) com a qualidade dos livros. Parecem livros de banca de jornal, a capa é mole e não possui orelhas, as folhas são muito parecidas com papel de jornal, reciclado. A impressão também não é das melhores, algumas páginas tem as letras muito claras, e outras estão borradas. Os livros são pequenos em altura, para quem já acompanha o Rick e possui aquela primeira edição de Percy Jackson, os livros são do mesmo tamanho que esses.Para quem só quer ler a história e não se importa com a estética geral do livro, vá em frente. Já pra quem quer um livro bonito, que dure, procure a versão hardcover (apesar de estar muito difícil de encontrar, aqui na Amazon pelo menos).

Reçu rapidement mais abîmé !! Les coins du coffrets sont cornés et le dos de deux livres sont abîmés. Traces de colle et de rayures (cuter ?). Très désagréable et déçue lorsqu'il s'agit d'un cadeau que l'on offre. Dommage.
