The Story of the America's Cup 1851 - 2013 Hardcover – October 15, 2014

Bought this a gift for my husband. He's an avid sailor and loved it! Beautiful text and pictures -- fantastic photography. OK, it solved my annual problem of what to get him for his birthday when we already have everything -- maybe it will solve your "problem" too.

This was better than we ever imagined. The man whom we gave it to had watched the last big America's Cup and was hoping to find a book about it. This one, with stories and pictures of races since 1851, was a fantastic response to his request.

A beautifully collated collection of the History of the America's Cup.

Superb paintings, excellent commentary. Could have used more technical detail, in my opinion.

This book, essential to my bibliography, is a trove of knowledge.

Amazing photos and a wonderful, complete history of the amazing race.

A great coffee table book covering all the races from the very beginning up to 2013. Key to the book are many really excellent paintings of all the America Cup winners, all full page, all painted in the style of the period, not a bright contemporary we see so often today. As a non yachty, l really found it a great publication.

I purchased this for my Son's birthday as the America's Cup is close to his heart.
