But the worst is that after washing they become stiff and uncomfortable compared to when they were new. BUT I have not found any of these problems with the Easton Marlowe socks. As a matter of fact, my socks have had a number of washings and they are still as soft and flexible as the first time I wore them. They're a bit loose around my feet and a bit tight around the elastic end. They do stay up quite well without leaving grooves and patterns in your skin.
