Even though I have started a business from the ground up and ran it for 13 years and then completed my exit strategy AND even though I have degrees in management and business administration I felt it never hurts to have references like this in your library. Some of the information contained herein is very basic and for someone who has never started a business would be very helpful.I found it to be written in an easy to follow format and while most of the information was not helpful to me I did find some useful information and will keep it as a reference. It seems as though so many people today want to become business coaches and consultants. The market is getting flooded and many do not have the experience they need to be successful. This book will not help you get the experience but will help you understand the basics of setting up your practice.

This is helpful to the beginning coach. It should not be your only reference, but is a good one. There is some good advice for getting your coaching business off the ground.

It's an introduction to the coaching industry. But this book is an overview of business in general! And applied to coaching. It not only shows how to start a coaching business, but literally any business. The only reason why I gave it four stars was because it wasn't focused enough on coaching itself. But this really gets the business rolling and has enough to get you going.
