I was hesitant to buy after reading the reviews, but then I checked reviews for similar items and saw the same trend. It seems that many people are looking for hand towels that are big, soft and absorbent. These are bar rags. They’re meant to be nice enough to use and cheap enough to throw away without thinking twice. These are perfect for me. I use them to clean tile floor areas from my home where my dogs like to track an insane amount of mud. I only took four out of the pack so far. They are used and washed repeatedly and have not had one loose fiber yet. Definitely worth how little they cost.

I needed a lot of towels at a reasonable price for the communal kitchen in my office. These are bar/restaurant quality, meaning they're sturdy and durable, will stand up to rough usage, but are not the softest until they've been washed several times.They've gone through a couple of rounds of use and washing on the hot cycle with a generous quantity of bleach, and I haven't noticed any shrinking. Distinctive color stripe helps discourage "borrowing" by office staff.Overall good value, would buy again if I need another 60 towels at some point.

I run a small restaurant and use bar mop towels for everything; shining glassware, wiping table tops, drying dishes, wiping up spills. These towels are thirst little buggers that get all those jobs done! I can't comment on their durability as I've only washed them once so far, but am happy with the performance. Good value.

Update: More bar mops fell apart on the 2nd wash. There was so much lint on the remaining ones that they cannot be used to dry dishes. Nor can they be used for cleaning cloths due to the excess lint left behind.. All went into the trash today. Changing my overall rating from 3 to 1 star.Previous post: Lost only one in the first wash - came apart in shreds. The others are in tact but I don't expect them to last long as the material is very thin. I will keep and use them as long as they last, but will order thicker ones for the future.

After a lot of searching to buy re-usable towels online, as we're trying to cut down on using paper towels, I bought these. I did the trick of running them through the dryer on a non-heat cycle for an hour or so to "de-fuzz" them. Man, it was a good thing I did. About a cubic foot of fuzz was in the lint filter. They still shed a bit when in use. I've washed about half of them. They're good for everyday cleaning, they don't wipe up spills as well as a paper towel but there are always tradoffs. Once I've put all 60 of the towel through 3 or 4 wash cycles, I'll update the review for durability/longevity.

I already owned 2 dozen towels similar to these from Amazon seller Liliane. I wanted more. But Liliane seems to have stopped selling them. So I found them from this seller. They are not quite the same as the Liliane - they are a bit fluffier - but they do the same job. We use them in the kitchen and at meals instead of paper towels for a lot of tasks: drying hands, drying veggies, drain towel for clean dishes or greasy fryer lids, mopping up the counter, napkins, adult bibs, etc. When this batch was new, I washed them with my older towels before I used them. I didn't have any lint problem. My only negative is that they can get quite damp if you use them as a hand drying towel several times in a row - such as when you are preparing a meal. But that's what they are for. And they are such a good price deal that I have a lot, so I don't mind tossing the wet one in the laundry, and grabbing a clean dry one. The description says 12 towels, but I got 13 -- even better.

When unpacked I held up one of the towels and could see light. I thought I made a mistake. But when I washed 10 of the towels I was surprised they were more fluffy and could not see through. Size is more square after washing than regular towels. But for about $.65 each is a bargain.

The first towel out of the package had brown stains on it. They are so thin that you will make a hole in it just doing ordinary tasks with them. It also does not measure out to 19”...more like 18 1/4.....
