There was no problem playing this CD

The basic story line is alright, but in a medieval setting you don't expect the characters to say things like, "Gee thanks!" or "Hey, that's lousy!" Kind of lowers the level, ya know?Also, we were extremely disappointed that there were female knights. Not what we expected in a Christian series set in the Middle Ages. Having both male and female knights working together made for some 21st century conversations which seemed very out of place, along with the aforementioned use of American slang.The author did make some good points regarding the stated purpose of the book, which was against apathy. But he didn't do it well enough that we will be buying any more of this series.

Grandson was eager to read through this along with the rest of Chuck Black's series. Great price and in good condition.

My 14yo son loves this whole series and devoured them.

Books good. I know because I've read it before and have it on my shelf. But I wanted the Audio and it wouldn't let me download it without paying for Audible so I couldn't get the product I wanted.

Very great book and the illusory plot line matched perfectly to real life events and trials! I recommend this for any young or old reader alike!
