I bought this food drier in preparation for the coming seasons fruit harvest but I find that I am spending lots on fresh steak so I may have a near constant supply of jerky. Also I dried 16 sliced clementines just before christmas and have been enjoying them in my coffee.This Food Dehydrator Machine Fruit Dryer, Sancusto Large 10L 6 Tiers is a wonderful start into the whole drying food process. It is easy to use, looks good on the counter and... it warms my usually cold kitchen just enough to get double benefit for the electricity used - win win situation.

Extremely big. Had to return as was just too big to fit in my small kitchen.

I bought this for my wife's birthday. It has the features of the much higher priced Excalibur dehydrators (the front door) seems well built and works really well. She's done a number of types of fruit with it to very good results, its not too noisy and is easy to setup use and clean afterwards. I'd recommend some non stick sheets though for some fruit.

First of all, don't leave it unattended?? So what I need to sit and watch it for days? Whats the point then? And it didn't say that in description, only in instruction when delivered.Delivery - wasted all day! To sit and wait when it was put out for delivery at 10am and wasnt here till 6pm! No text , no nothing with at least some estimation.Instructions are very poor and not informative.

Buttons don't work. Layered it up with potatoes. Tried to press start. Realised none of the buttons work. Can't change temp, time, or start it.Have turned on and off multiple times. Very annoying.

I really enjoy using this device, it is so much fun to dry fruits. It does take some practice but there are handy guides with the device.There is some noise, but less then expected. Overall super happy

I've not owned a dehydrator before so I can't compare this against other models. That said, I'm still unsure what I make of this thing!It fits in a lot more than I expected. I got 2 thinly sliced apples, 2 mangoes, one pineapple, pack of blueberries, pack of raspberries, pack of strawberrys (sliced) and 3 kiwis in at once and the trays were not overloaded so though it takes a very, very long time, at least there is a substantial yield at the end.I set it for 8 hours at the recommended temperature for fruit. At the end of the 8 hours the apples were good but everything else needed longer. Berries take way longer. The house smelt nicely of fruit while it was on though so that's a bonus. It's also nice that the trays can be slid in and out independently of each other and aren't stacked in the unit like some so it's easy to remove any trays that are finished while leaving others in situThe unit doesn't get too hot on the outside, warm but you wouldn't burn yourself on it (I had to move the cat off the top as apparently in his mind it's the perfect warming snooze spot) and when taking trays out you don't need any heat protectionThe bottom tray is hard to get out, the rest slide out easily. There are some aspects to the design that seem a bit cheap/unfinished but it is lightweight and easy to use and clean

Missing the door handle but doesn’t affect the way this operates. So far so good, works well and not too bad on energy. So far I have done citrus, fruits, celery and hibiscus and all went to plan.
