Great sound a quality with a perfect size. The brass looks amazing and can be adjusted easily. Functions perfectly and very sturdy.

Bought these to replace the stock snares that were snapping off. I use my kit about 2-3 times a week for around an hour and a half to two hours at a time. Two years in and they still function well, sound great and haven’t had one snap off yet. These will be my go to replacement snares, great product.

Great snare wires for the money! I love this on my Gretsch full range 14x6.5 and give a great, snappy response. My favorite feature of Puresound wires is the strap system - I can get extremely precise with my tension on the snare and the entire set-up feels solid and stable. The brass wires, to me, speak with clarity at any tension and I use the 20 strand wires on ALL my gigging snares.

Good sound overall, and the mounting system works quite nicely in my opinion. I do find however that these have a tendency to rattle a little more than any other wires I've tried on my drum - each hit is followed by some buzz. No amount of tuning and adjustment stopped it. I found that a tad unpleasant and ended up going in another direction. I don't know if it's the model, or I just got a set that has this tendency.

I picked the 24 strand because I noticed my snare bed was a little wider in this AK brass drum I had. I feel like I picked up some snare sensitivity near the edges and I’m very pleased overall with the warm brass sound. Clarity was not affected. Excellent.

I love these snare wires because they come with the Quick Release straps. The straps have measurements on each side to ensure you center the snare wires. You can pull the Cotter pins and remove the snare wires to replace the snare side reso head and re-install the snare wires at the exact same tension as before with no guess work!

Maybe I'm just dumb, and I've never replaced snare wires so I'm going uphill already, but the mounting system was not something I could figure out. I would get it on and start playing, but they would fall out in the middle of a song. Once I did get them mounted, they sounded amazing though. Really nice, thick, crack to them even on my reso great that is older than I care to admit

Puresound custom pros are fantastic. Great sound, solid build quality, great attachment method, simply can't be beat! The brass is bright and snappy with good volume, a must for any snare drum.

Nach ein paar Jahren intensiver Nutzung ist der alte Snare-Teppich meines Tama Sets etwas ausgeleiert. Daher habe ich mich für diesen Teppich entschieden da er für meine Zwecke optimal erschien. Ich habe es nicht bereut, denn dieser Teppich passt perfekt, sorgt für einen tighten Snaresound und verhindert durch die optimierte Auflagefläche auf dem Fell, dass der Teppich zu rasseln beginnt (z.B. durch laute Gitarrengeräusche) Zudem ist der Snare Teppich sehr robust und lässt sich sehr gut justieren.

Tiene excelente sonido y está muy bien construido, lo único malo que le veo es la correa de nylon tejido con los seguritos, se enchueca todo el tiempo, prefiero las de plástico o los hilos, se mantiene más centrado.
