Long lasting Great value and quality'
Great product lasted until 5/1/25 , easy install, quality ballast. Would recommend to anyone looking to up grade from halogen to LED.

Very bright, great build quality, slight blue tint
So I first purchased the Phillips Ultinon fog light bulbs to replace the H11 bulbs in the fog lights of my 2014 Grand Cherokee. The Phillips fit nicely and had a nice white color to them. However, they were not even close to as bright as the oem 55w halogen bulbs. I returned those and bought these. The PIAA bulbs have very good build quality and are very bright! They are very close to the brightness of the 55w halogen they replaced. These are intended to be headlight replacements, but work perfectly fine for fog lights as long as the wiring and light enclosure can support the extra power and heat. The only thing I dislike about these is the color temperature. These have a slight blue shade to them. I have 6000k Phillips hid bulbs that are white with no trace of blue. I was hoping these would match better than they do. But overall I am pleased and will be keeping them. Hopeful they hold up well.

Worth the price!
After a lot of research and reading I decided to go with the PIAA bulbs to replace in my 2017 Civic so the Daytime Running Lights would match the headlights. Halogen lights that have a bright white/blue color typically only have a bulb life of 300 hours which is ridiculously low. A lot of LED bulbs out there either have fans on the back which make noise and will eventually fail, and/or don' have the ability to adjust the beam which makes everyone coming at your way curse at you because they can't see. (pro tip the LED's need to typically point to the sides not up and down when installed)These were a direct plug and play and work great. The biggest pain, which really isn't even a pain, is figuring out where to place the small converter box. I just zip tied them to wherever was around.I highly recommend these and I'll be getting them to replace my fog lights soon!

Would buy again but.......
Just a quick review of the bulbs.Bought them for my 2012 GMC Yukon Denali. They fit as they should into the light housings but once I turned them on I realized I needed to take them back out and adjust them. The factory halogen bulbs sit at a very specific spot in the housing so the light hits the reflector in just the right way and these bulbs did not have the correct adjustment holes to put them in the right spot. So I had to make my own adjustment holes so the bulb would sit just right. When the bulbs were adjusted to the PIAA factory hole the beam was not flooding out correctly and the low beams would not light up the road properly. After I spent the time to adjust them and make my own adjustment holes they were amazing!! I hate working with aftermarket products but I was so impressed with the light output and quality I bought them for my new truck! All in all after a little extra work to adjust them to the correct factory spot in the housing they worked great!

Impressive bulbs
Very satisfied with these bulbs. Super bright and nice clear white tone.Work great in my 2010 tacoma with OEM headlight assemblies. Had to remove my washer fluid reservoir to install the passenger side and get creative about the Tacoma rubber grommets but otherwise easy install. Can’t speak to longevity yet but will update over time. I’ve had bad luck with piaa halogen bulbs in the past but I’m hopeful about the LEDs

Great Brightness, but continuous flicker after turning off the lights killed the joy
The brightness was great. Really good spread with the adjustability that comes within the bulb base. The flicker was the main issue. Had to install a relay to isolate the bulbs from the main circuit to eliminate flickering once the lights were turned off/ Flickering would go on all night long stressing on the bulbs themselves.

Fit and function are not synonymous
As 2014-2015 Chevy Silverado owners are aware, these trucks are notorious for inadequate low beam headlamps. In an attempt to mitigate this issue on my 2015 Silverado, I purchased the PIAA 26-17311 White H11 Platinum LED Bulb Kit which according the Amazon “This fits your: 2015 Silverado LT”The product arrived well packaged with a decent instruction set which explains the connections and how to reverse the heat sink if needed. The headlamps on the 2015 Silverado sit behind removable covers that seal out dust, dirt and moisture.Installation was relatively easy although the right side headlamp required removal of the air filter box to get to it.The only real problem on installation was finding a place to tuck the controllers within the housing. Since the covers seal the housing from the engine bay, there is no way to secure the controllers outside the headlamp housing without drilling holes in the dust covers. I was able to locate an area inside the housing that was out of the way. After I completed the install, I turned on the headlamps and was very pleased with the light output and distance. The following morning I set out for work at my usual 4:30 am. I was really happy with the light output as I drove through my dimly lit residential neighborhood.A few miles later, as I was nearing the interstate, both headlamps suddenly went out at the same time with no warning. I immediately pulled into a parking lot to check them and just as I stopped, they came back on. I turned the headlamp knob off and on and the lights worked fine, so I proceeded to work.A few minutes later on the interstate, they suddenly went off again. Fortunately, my vehicle is equipped with fog lamps which afforded me some semblance of light. A couple minutes later, the LEDs came back on. I was forced to return home with the lights going off and coming on at about two minutes intervals the whole way.In researching the issue, I learned the lights were overheating and would power off as a safety precaution. Once cooled down, they would come on again until they got too hot and powered off.It is possible removing the covers on the back of the headlamps might have resolved the problem but as the covers are there for a reason, I did not want to risk damaging anything inside the housing by removing them. I was therefore forced to go back to the halogens. As I was packing the LEDs up for return I spotted a small notation on the box. It was printed in very small font in very light ink that almost blended with cover. The notation states “For off-road use only”. This important information was not noted in the description on Amazon.Suffice to say, it was extremely annoying to having wasted my time ordering and installing what is clearly an unsafe product for normal road use. There is no telling what may have happened had I not had fog lamps and driving on a rural road when the headlamps went out.The fact that this product is only designed for off-road use should have been prominently stated on the packaging as well as in the description on Amazon. In summary, this product is WILL NOT work for normal use on a 2015 Silverado.
