My doctor advised me to take them as they are supposedly very good for my joints pain and good for the system. She highly recommended them. I have been taking high strength turmeric with black.pepper and ginger for a while now and it is helping with the arthritis in my shoulder. It keeps the pain away. I am very pleased with it.

This is a good quality turmeric preparation and economical.I have been testing several turmeric preparations recently.An effective supplement for relieving arthritis. Particularly good for limb pain.It is usually mixed with ginger and consumed that way.The preparation is good and effective.That's enough for long time.It doesn’t smell unpleasant and I didn’t experience it staining my hands. It has occurred in other products before.Its size is quite large. This Tumeric food supplement is good for osteoarthritis and trouble with kidneys and is believed to be good for several other things including rheumatoid arthritis and may help a person to get back to normal after a heart attack.In the powder form it's good for cooking curries or you can put it in lots of things to colour them.The price is about average.You get a big tub of 180 pills which are a mustard colour and bullet shaped which helps them go down your throat easier, the suggested dose is 2 tablets every day so they should last for 9 weeks. I take a range of daily vitamins and supplements and I've bought most of them from Peterborough-based Simply Supplements for a long time now. Not all supplements are the same. The reason I settled on this company is because I noticed a consistent balance between price - which now more than ever is important - and potency, which always has been for me and for many of us.I got this Turmeric Joint Care Plus for my partner, a keen walker and hiker now in his late 'fifties who periodically likes to take bone and joint health supplements. The pack I received has a long Best Before date of November 2024 and the top of this white opaque plastic screw topped pot was sealed.Made in the UK in a GMP certified facility and suitable for vegetarians, these tablets support cartilage and connective tissue. They're quite large but their torpedo shape makes them easy to swallow and as they're scored down the centre, they could easily be halved to make them easier if you find it difficult to take tablets.This is a complex so it includes a range of ingredients - not only turmeric/curcumin but also calcium, magnesium, vitamin C, copper, bioperine black pepper extract and vitamin D3. The black pepper's there to aid absorption of the curcumin. As I'd expect from Simply Supplements, the full list of ingredients including the percentages of each in this product are listed on the container and in the online listing.If these seem expensive, do bear in mind that not only is this a high quality UK-made supplement but you're getting a 90 day/3 month supply at the suggested serving of 2 tablets per day. Which makes them rather good value too.

TLDR:• Not FDA approved• Contains more than just curcuminoids• So check with your healthcare professional before taking - Especially if you also suffer from an inflammatory bowel disease and have been told to stay away from non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs) like Ibuprofen, Naproxen, etc.My background:• I suffer from joint problems, have disc degeneration and other ailments that cause my joints to inflame.• I also suffer from Diverticular Disease and undergoing investigation for other IBD's, due to related symptoms that are unrelated to Diverticulitis.• I therefore cannot take NSAIDs like Ibuprofen.What My GP and Dietician Said:• This product contains more than just Curcuminoids and they need to determine how my body will react to these additional ingredients.• As I need to stay from NSAIDs, this "should" be safer to use; however, due to my sensitivity on any anti-inflammatory that isn't the injection I already receive, that I need to be extremely careful.• Natural ingredients are much safer to consume, so this "should" be safer for me.• I'm to take 0.5 per day for 2 weeks and monitor and report back. Then increase to 1 per day, if all is OK.My Experience At Time Of Writing Review:• No change in joint pain (taking 0.5 tablets per day currently).• Increase in bowel cramping and loose stools.• I'm due to report back with both my GP and Dietician. I have a feeling that I will be asked to stop taking these, resulting from my symptoms.
