Good For The Price But Needs Modifications
First off, if you are going to use this with an American DJ Accuscan 250, dont buy the Arriba AC-85 mirror protector - it is too generic and too long to fit inside this case. The case is well made, and makes carrying the Accuscan a heck of a lot easier, however is not well suited for protection. I tried to call the Arriba Co. at least 20 times over 3 weeks with no answer, and left at least two messages. They do not return calls. Oh yeah! I forgot, their email always bounces back because their mailbox is too full! Since I could not find an alternative product and couldn't reach Arriba, I decided to perform my own modifications. I placed a sheet of 1/4" thick Masonite in the bottom (full length), and then a piece of 3/4" thick polyurethane foam rubber over that (long enough to go up one side for the mirror end as well). Place the Accuscan face down into the case. With this inexpensive modification I give it 6 stars.Instead of the AC-85 for the mirror, use a heavy rubber band around the neck frame and then around the pin that prevents the mirror from turning too far. That should prevent dammage to the motor and mirror during transportation.A note to Arriba: Try answering your phones, and returning calls - not everybody wants to yell at you. Respect your customers and read your email. Do some customer surveys and find out that most professional DJs do not want bulk adding fancy zipper pouches on the sides of carry bags that get caught on doors, wall corners, and other equipment. We have far too many cables that would never fit inside the pouch anyway! Loose it.Amazon! You rock!

Not intended for heavy gear, but makes a great gig bag
I originally purchased this to house a pair of Powerwerks PW50 Portable PA System heads. They were a perfect fit, but it was obvious that their combined weight (thirty pounds total) was stressing the seams on this bag. I then repurposed it as a general gig bag for cables and lighter accessories. For the lighter gear this is the best gig bag I now own. It has ample space for lighter, but bulkier, components and is sufficiently heavy duty that it will easily accommodate a twenty pound load if the gear is evenly distributed. Most of the cables I am using this for are electrical (power conditioned outlet strips), but I am also carrying the usual instrument, speaker and XLR cables in smaller bags inside this case.Although this is designed for lighter objects, the zippers and stitching are impressive. One of the first things I check before purchasing a new bag is the quality of the zippers because that - in my experience - is a weak link. I have no concerns about the ones used in this bag.Do note that there is nominal padding at best. This bag is not optimum for any gear that needs protection against bangs, drops and scrapes. Again, for cables it works perfectly.

American DJ Mega Par Profile Carrier
I purchased one of these and 3 of the AC 135 bags, I can fit 8 Uplights in one of these bags, and only 4 in the AC 135s. This bag is only $5 more than the 135, so I should have just bought 4 of these for the ability to carry 30 lights and the controller. I now need to order 2 more to carry all of the lights. Maybe I will order 3 more of these and the 135's will serve a better use down the road somewhere. Nice bag

Good bag but wish center divider connect on 3 sides to bag.
Great bag, though the center divider only has velcro on the bottom and rear sides, so it doesn't connect to the front of the bag, giving it less structure.

Four Stars
Not as well padded as the bags you get from Chauvet but it serves it's purpose.

Perfect protection for my speaker.
I use this for my Alto TX-8 powered speaker. The power cord and the speaker cable fit in the zip pouch on front. I don't have to worry about my speaker getting dinged and scratched during travel to and from gigs.
