Is it?** A: You are correct. The cup is very difficult to clean. The very fragile spider is not fully attached to the cup- it’s attached at the legs and not the body. That said, there is space between the bottom of the spider in the inside bottom of the cup where food particles/ liquids can remain or get trapped after the cup has been used. Also, the spider, although very well-crafted, is huge, comprising almost 60% of the internal space of cup. The cup is great as a gag gift or novelty item.
