Old shelves looked cluttered, saw these, looked smart and had good reviews. Decent price. So I thought time to thin out books etc, and de clutter.Amazon delivered it quickly, all pieces in good condition.On hindsight I would have re waxed the wood before assembling, as the wax was a bit patchy in places.Took two of us to assemble, about one hour, on my own probably two, but we did not use an electric screwdriver, would have taken less time then.With most things you get what you paid for, l amVery pleased with the result.Good value for the money.

Okay this was my first time putting together a bookshelf on my own so I am happy to say it was easy to do. The instructions were easy to follow and I didn't have any issues assembling it. I'm really happy with how it looks and have already filled it up with books!The only thing I think might be useful to know is that the back of the bookcase doesn't look like it does in the pictures. It doesn't have the curving base piece at the back and the side of the back panel that faces the wall isn't white. This isn't an issue for me as it's up against the wall so you can't see it and other bookcases look like that anyway but it might be worth knowing for some people.Other than that it looks exactly like the images and I would definately recommend.

Good bookcase for the money. It is made from wood so the shelves are very sturdy and don't bend when you fill them with books. The assembly instructions aren't very good though, they could do with being a lot clearer.

Easy to assemble, quality shelf. Quite spacious, decent depth - unlike Ikea ones I bought before. I didn't fix it to the wall, but it stands very nice and proud nevertheless. Would recommend!

This is a very likeable bookcase. It looks good when constructed and filled with items, feels sturdy too. The instructions were a little vague at times but will care it goes together easily. Watch out as the wood is rather soft and a power screwdriver will just tear it. Use a manual screwdriver and build it with love.

For the price this bookcase is on the money. So good in fact I’ve ordered a second one for my office. From other reviews I’d like to comment on the ease of construction. I would recommend reading through the instructions before assembly. Not that they are difficult to understand but this is flat pack furniture and it’s a little foolish not to read through to get an idea of what you are putting together. Myself and my partner have just bought a house and been in flat pack construction hell for over a week. And this wasn’t that bad to assemble compared to other pieces of flat pack we’ve purchased. One reviewer also commented on some screw fittings not having guiding holes. This is correct and it does take a bit of strength getting them fitted. But please remember this. You are screwing straight into solid wood not chipboard. While it will be a bit of a pain when it’s put together you will most certainly notice that strength as you put books or heavy objects on the shelves. The smell of the pine is wonderful and this is a quality product for a great price. It’s definitely worth a little extra sweat and expletives putting it together. As I said at the start. I was so impressed I’ve ordered another!

Pretty cupboard, perfect for my cottage, however the assembly was utter hell. The screws have to be separated yourself, when they should already be in their own bags with letter labelled to match that in booklet. Markings on assembly pieces are so faint and some areas not even marked. It took me a whole day. Also the back is mdf board wih a bit of plastic to hold two pieces together. Had to nail the mdf to the back with lots of very long nails. Can't tell if you are nailing it into the right position so I now have about three nails poking through into the inside of the cabinet at the top. Very unsafe. Some of the screws wouldn't go in easily so I had to use alot of force and use different screwdrivers until it fixed. Exhausting for a person with tiny hands.

I have bought lots of Corona furniture in the past as it was cheap and I was on a budget. Over the years I have replaced most of it and upcycled other pieces. I purchased this cupboard purely because it was the only one I could find that was the perfect fit for the space i needed. I did so expecting the quality to be pretty basic but planning to paint and replace all the hardware. Good turnaround time and arrived safely but on unpacking was annoyed to find there has been significant cost cutting in production and the pictures for this listing are inaccurate. Backboard is two pieces of budget particle board with no wood effect and the shelves are now some kind of reconstituted jointed pieces as opposed to a single solid plank. Really think amazon need to look at the images they are using as they are misleading and not representative of the product customers will receive. Buyers beware!
