My new go-to
Love it. I went to Universal Studios last weekend and the sun was blazing. I wore this and reapplied every 2 hours and I got no tan or sun damage! I was especially nervous because I have discoloration around my mouth area and I’ve been actively working on it with various products so I did not want all my hard work to go down the drain from walking in the sun for so many hours. Luckily this did just the job and my progress is still in tact! This will definitely be my go to. Oh yeah, and it’s so silky to put on and no white cast which is important for me as I am a dark skin woman, and some sunscreens look very ashy on my skin

My rosacea loves it--so my budget has learned to love it, too
I think it's great. I must use mineral sunscreen because I have rosacea. My persnickety skin gets along very well with this sunscreen. This is optimally for those with dry to normal skin who enjoy glycerin-style products. While I personally LOVE this sunscreen and think it's the right price-point for the quality, I recommend those with oily skin proceed with caution or see if you can get a sample before spending your hard-earned $$$. Cast-wise: I have zero idea why this would leave a cast on a Caucasian. I encourage other skin tones to consider trying it, especially if they also suffer from rosacea. It *should* be on the ‘less-Casper’ side of mineral options. IT'S AWESOME under make-up and acts effectively as a primer. I put this on my face, neck and ears and let it dry for 5-10 minutes for adding anything else. After just spending 60+ minutes looking at other mineral options, I’m buying this again. There are a lot of great mineral sunscreens out there—this one is my HG. Hope you find yours!

Pricey, but good for the face
For the price I thought it would be bigger. I used it for my trip to Jamaica on the face and neck. Definitely not enough imo for the whole body. I reapply every two hours so I did go through this fast on my trip. It was still a great sunscreen though. It didn’t burn my skin or eyes which I loved (why I purchased). It does give a bit of a white cast, but mainly disappeared after about ten minutes.

Great mineral sunscreen for everyday wear on sensitive skin!
The mineral SPF 50 cream from MD Solar Sciences is a great sunscreen for my combination skin. It's quite hydrating (almost oily/greasy when first applied), but without making my skin oily. I personally prefer mineral sunscreens (although the formula is never as elegant as a good formulated chemical one), since chemical sunscreen ingredients irritate sometimes my skin (and my eyes). The consistency of the sunscreen is creamy, but not very thick (as most SPF 50 products are), somewhat lightweight and oily (you need to shake it before applying, otherwise there's some separation). It indeed applies silky smooth and wears wonderfully under make-up all day long. But since it's hydrating, I need to let it sink into the skin for 5-10 minutes before applying foundation; if the sunscreen doesn't dry out enough on the skin, the make-up applies bad. It somewhat helps to blur fine lines and wrinkles, but nothing too impressive. On my skin the finish is not truly matte; more like velvety satin, with a touch of dewiness. But overall I think it makes my skin look great under make-up and I noticed I get less oily towards the end of the day than usual.I can definitely feel this sunscreen on my face, but it's a `veil` like feel, not a `heavy cream` feel. It's still a mineral sunscreen and will somewhat clog the pores and I can feel it on my skin. But I do a good cleanse in the evening so I had no issues with breakouts from this cream. The formula is definitely more lightweight than most mineral sunscreen products.Surprisingly for a mineral sunscreen, there's barely any white cast once the cream is set to the face (but I have a light-medium skin tone, darker complexions might have different experiences).I also like the formula of this sunscreen, without fragrance and other irritants; it's a good mix of mineral SPF for sun protection, silicone for smoothness (and priming) and some antioxidants (so good for the skin during sun exposure). It's a pricey SPF, but a great one.

Soooo good
I’m extremely picky about mineral face sunscreen, I wear it daily under makeup. I loved Algenist brand but they discontinued it so I went on the hunt for something new. This is the ONE! It’s light weight, smells fine (not like sunscreen which I appreciate) goes on smooth under makeup, moisturizes, not white cast!

Good with other products or by itself
Great product, i switch from chemical sunscreen to mineral, and this specific product has been great. I used it by itself, on top of serums, and layering before foundation and in all instances it has absorb well and leaves no white residue.

White cast
This products comes highly recommended on several skincare sites, so I thought I would take a chance. I was looking for a sunscreen that was non-irritating and gentle since I was dealing with some inflammation. The formulation is very creamy and silky, but if you use the amount you’re supposed to to get the SPF on the label, there is a definite white cast that never fades or dries down, despite rubbing it in. It is very dewy, so I topped it off with some loose powder. I looked like a corpse. I am pretty white anyway, so it’s amazing this could make me look even whiter. I will try to finish this since it is a little pricey for the amount of product you get, but will not be repurchasing.
