Mark Twain: Five Novels (Leather-bound Classics)

Well bound... Wish the print could have been a little bigger but that's a price you pay for having 5 books in one volume.

This is a great addition to my library. It contains 4 of my favorite stories of Mark Twain. It is a high quality book that looks great on my bookshelf. But I didn't buy it for looks. I bought it for the stories and the fact that I now have his four, in my opinion, best stories. Who knows maybe the additional story will grow on me.

I was not expecting the quality to be this nice. Very surprised how nice it is.

The font is very small

Picked this up for my kid because I loved Mark Twain when I was in grammer school.

I bought this book as I want to add some leather bound classic books to my new library. This book itself is really beautiful. I’m buying more of this brand (Canterbury Classics) leather bound classic books from Amazon. The price can’t be beat and the quality is very nice. I would say the only drawback is the text is a little small but not too bad with my reading glasses. Definitely not a large print book!

Because of the pandemic, it took more days to arrive but it was worth to wait. The book is beautiful and the vendor was very nice in replying to my emails.

As narrativas não precisam ser comentadas. Sobre o material físico, vale dizer que o acabamento é perfeito e o livro é lindo. O preço é muito bom, mesmo que adquirido no valor da cotação do dólar, quando comparado com as edições nacionais. Há, entretanto, dois pontos negativos: a gramatura do papel, que lhe confere certa transparência, e a fonte, que é semelhante aquela empregada pela Companhia das Letras nas obras de Pynchon e Tartt. Entretanto, esses dois aspectos fazem parte da proposta editorial: um livro físico duradouro e de preço acessível; uma gramatura maior, além de inviabilizar o manuseio do volume, que passaria de 2kg, também encareceria muito o produto.Dessa forma, essa coleção é perfeita dentro de sua proposta e revela que aprender inglês é mais barato do que não aprender.
