Dover makes the best coloring books for kids. This one is a “stained glass” style so you can see through the pages and gang them in a window when the kids are done.

Being and avid colorist that started this past summer, and I fell into hook line and sinker; I have collected a variety of coloring books, different types of mediums (pencils, pens, markers) ways to keep them all organized. I am learning my style, new techniques and what I enjoy coloring; which at the moment is pretty much most anything, although some of the finer detail areas have to wait for days my wrists or eyes aren't bothering me; and having a magnifying glass also helps too. There is such a wide variety of coloring books out there for adults; if you are looking for something to help de-stress, to help cope maybe with different medical issues you maybe facing or whatever, don't be afraid, just jump on it there and give it a shot; I am sure you will find something that will suit your fancy and they even have coloring books for men too. A lot of these artists have GREAT talent, and it surely shows when you flip through these pages. So, what are you waiting for? Pick up a coloring pencil, kick up your feet, sit back and relax and color yourself a great picture!!!

Great fun...great gifts!

These are really pretty- however I chose to use color markers and they streak - noticeable when you hold them to the light- I don't think colored pencils would show up as brightly unless you press really hard- (which I cannot do because of arthritis) and may also show "lines"- so what's left?- perhaps water colors- but have to use fairly "dry" or it will run- or crayons, which if hung as a suncatcher (which is suggested since the pages are translucent lightweight plastic material) I wonder if the "wax" would stay put. The illustrations are slightly less intricate than the other books I have ordered as adult coloring books- but still - you have to think ahead to how it will look when done.

Beautiful pages. Only downside is they didn't tear nicely.

This book has very beautiful and interesting patterns & yet is easy to color. Thanks to the people that included some pictures of a few colored pages I was able to see what it would actually look like colored & knew I would love it. I'm including one also but it's not perfect, the colors still look nice & make the design pop I think. Here it's hanging in the window. Hopefully you will find this helpful, I love when people include a photo of the actual product, makes deciding which to buy MUCH easier.

I do art projects with people who are receiving chemotherapy. People tend to love butterflies, and of course, when you're stuck in a chair with nothing to do for hours on end, coloring these beautiful designs can be a great distraction. The drawings are great (if a bit complicated at times to color), and patients enjoy using water colors, markers or colored pencils to add their creative touches.

As a grown up who still loves to color, I love these Dover books. They have great pictures that are printed on premium paper. No matter what medium I use I can count on them coming out beautifully. I color with markers quite a bit and have never had to deal with the paper disintegrating. The pictures have lots of small details that make them both relaxing and challenging. I own several of these books and can't wait to order more.

Bought for my granddaughter she gets lots of fun from filling in the pages with such concentration and a brilliant end product. On the plus side I get to relax.

Great colouring book brilliant for felts

Awful colouring book very flimsy and the pictures looks like they are on thin tracing paper! Wasted money!!
