Elecjet AnyWatt SQ, USB-C to Lenovo Square Slim-Tip Adapter, 45W or 65W Converter for USB Port

I'll edit and add more details or photos later, just wanted to submit a 5 star review now, because I'm happy to share that this adapter DOES WORK! (contrary to another one I got previously from a different vendor, different marketplace).I have several (about 5 or 6) old Lenovo power supplies, maybe 1 or 2 IBM ones, some of them with round tips (already with flat tip adapters), and wanted a USB-C adapter so I could use them with my new Thinkpad T490.Some potential buyers may be wary because of the "60W" (60 watts) output thing, because it seems that Lenovo thinkpads usually require at least 65W. This adapter's specs mention that it can be connected to a 65W or a 90W power supply (flat/slim/square tip), and the output from the USB-C side will be 60W.Well, I guess 60W is sufficient, because my T490 works perfectly, no complaints, as if it was its OEM power supply.The one I got from somewhere else (a generic, unbranded one), although supposedly had the same specs, when I connected it, my laptop immediately displayed a warning on the battery charging icon, something like "Weak charge detected".I mentioned this to the other vendor, and after an exchange of messages, they gave me a full refund and told me that they were not going to keep selling those particular adapters anymore.So, at least my experience with this ELECJET adapter is 5 stars. Of course YMMV.

I work with 3 Lenovo X1 Carbons. Just got another one with the new USB-C power ports. I also have a number of thin travel chargers that I love, but have the older style plugs that will not work with the USB-C power ports. ELecjet solved the problem.Yes, it is a bit pricey, but the company takes this product seriously. You can even see this in the packaging. A lot of little adapters like this come in cheap Ziploc bags. This one is packaged nicely. Pull it out, put it on the end of the old chargers, plug into new computer; well, it just works. Components look well made, with a snug but not overly tight fit.Even comes with a one-year warranty. So far, highly recommended. I just ordered 2 more.

We do have a lot of Thinkpad Notebooks in our company. Every other generation the plug of the power supply changes. Last time a plain mechanical adapter from round to angular shaped plug was sufficient. At latest generation notebooks USB-C with USB-PD is neccessary. It is convenient to have many power supplies, one for the desk, one at the meeting room and one at home. USB-PD is much more than just a mechanical adapter. I was concerned about compatibility because a have read many posts about problems with incompatible power supplies and cables. But this ELECJET adaptor JUST WORKS FINE ! We have tested it with a Lenovo Thinkpad L480, a MacBook Pro 2017 and a Xiaomi A2 smartphone, a Google Pixel 3 smartphone and one Thunderbolt 3 to HDMI Adapter with USB-PD. Conclusio: everything works perfect, no problems. The devices recognise a 60W powersupply and adapt the charging speed according to that. Even an 12 year old Lenovo 90W round-plug powersupply to squared plug adapter to ELECJET USB-C USB-PD Adapter in chain worked hassle-free. I wish they were a little bit cheaper and available in europe. I bought 5 pieces and will buy more because they work as advertised (and there is no alternative, but buying whole powersupplies) for re-using old PSUs. This adapter is recommended exceptionless.

Very convenient to use and durable. With frequent change of power outlet deign of laptop and mobile phones, this is a very handy device to have! Light , small and portable

I have several older Lenovo Laptops which I've recycled to become Linux boxes.The power on all of them is the Lenovo Yellow Rectangle Power.And now with this, I can still use the older power block and cable to my newer USB-C laptops that Lenovo is making these days.I do like Lenovo, and I have several of the rectangular yellow power blocks around... This adapter allows sweet transition without having to get something new.Perfect!

Bought this as I just received a PC upgrade for my work computer. All of my (many) other adaptors I've accumulated in the last 3 years are old-style Lenovo. My company also provides "old-style" Lenovo power supplies at desks and in conference rooms in the office. Pretty much useless with a new PC that has a USB type C power input....unless you buy one of these awesome little babies!The collection of pictures show an ancient Lenovo power supply powering an old ThinkPad X1 Yoga, then the same power supply, with the ELECJET adaptor powering my new X1 Carbon. Love this solution as it's super portable and I don't have t spend $55 for additional OEM power supplies or $35 for generic ones. Great product at a reasonable price.

I have a newer Dell laptop that requires a USB-C connector, as opposed to the traditional USB size. Instead of buying a new power cord, I bought this adapter, which has worked out great. I have about three USB power cords, so all I need to do is use this adapter to attach to the existing cord, and plug it into my laptop. It's sturdy, made of solid materials, and lightweight. Excellent product and great price.

I recently purchased a new Lenovo Thinkpad that only charges by USB-C. Having used Lenovo products for years I wanted to be able to use my existing collection of rectangular Lenovo chargers with my new laptop.When I first used this converter with my laptop I was happy to see that it was charging my laptop correctly. However after about 2 minutes, I noticed that it had suddenly stopped charging. I fiddled with the dongle a bit and tried to use it with other Lenovo chargers however with no luck. While doing so however I began to smell something burning. Upon my investigation I discovered that the dongle was the cause of the smell.Keep in mind that I attempted to use this dongle with a Lenovo Thinkpad using only official Lenovo rectangular chargers.

このタイプの20V ACアダプタからUSB-PDへの変換アダプタは4つ持っています。(1つはヤフオクで売りましたが)本機の良い所はアダプタを介しても電圧が下がらない所。少し旧い20VのレノボのACアダプタをつないでUSB-PD対応の新しいレノボのノートPCに20Vで充電できます。安い別の物だと0.5Vぐらい電圧が下がりますので。

以前の電源が無駄にならなくて良かったです。大きさもそれほど気になりません。

コードを抜いた時に、簡単にカバーが外れ中身がむき出しになった。交換できるのか？
