I realized after the insulation was added that I need to create some type of path to access the high velocity air conditioner that's also up there. I bought four packs for a total of 16 panels and they worked quite well. They are small and light enough that I could get them through the small opening to the attic space and the gridded construction made it easy to work them under the batts and through the cellulose. Some of the comments had me concerned they would be flimsy or easy to break but I don't feel that is any kind of issue once installed on my 16 inch on center joists. Not all of my joists are equally space but I found there was always some way to position the next panel to get it into a good position that provides some sound footing. It may have been more frugal of me to by some lumber and build something up there by it's not my favorite place to hang around especially in Summer. You will have to line them up with the floor joists. **Q: is it screwed down?** A: Yes, each one is held down with 5 screws which are provided. **Q: Has anyone used pins too install instead of screws? Easy removal for access** A: No. I had to remove and adjust. It was easy enough to use an electric drill to remove screws and reinstall flooring. **Q: Somehow I misplaced the screws which came with these. What size and length are they?** A: They are just common drywall screws. I think 2 inches. So the convenience of these was worth the price to me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very easy to install but hardware terrible *by D***. on December 11, 2021* I ordered these for attic storage, I ordered 3 packs (12 tiles) they were very easy to install fit together nicely and seem sturdy when installed, they do give a little when you stand on them and I am no where near the weight limit but I guess they are meant to do that. My biggest complaint is the hardware to install these tiles is terrible, roughly half sheared off when screwing into the joist, after 5 or 6 attempts I through them away and used decking screws I already had, worked well and the final result is good storage in the attic.
