Uncle Bens Mushroom Microwave Rice, Bulk Multipack 6 x 250 g pouches

I ordered a box of 6 bags . I got 6 loose sachets all squashed with a very short date before it expires. Very upsetting.

I don't know whether it's best to buy these singly instead of the multipacks except the quality wasn't there. I found the rice soggy and tasteless and I couldn't eat it. Easy to use of course just pop it in the microwave for two minutes and excellent value for money except it had no flavour.

Overall it is a good product but the taste is not the strongest point. For a 9 to 5 work shift is really appropriate.

I have used this many times and have always found it to be good. However, I think they have forgotten to put the vegetables in; obviously, they are saving money! The rice is lovely though and for that alone, I recommend it, assuming of course you have a pan of vegetables nearby

These Ben rices are great. 2 minutes in the microwave and get them on your plate. I have them with tins of mackerel as a great lunch. Tasty, simple and good.

These taste horrible, too sloppy like that of wallpaper paste with mushroom mixed in.Will not be buying again, taste rotten.

We use a lot of uncle bens rice as its delicious
