No egg, but possibly carrot, onion, or garlic as it lists one of the ingredients as "Spices" so they might be included in there????

As far as I could ever tell, this is old style mix. As close to OLD as you can get. By old, I mean that this is small in production and I seriously doubt that the manufacturer is using GMO anything. This base is excellent and will make you appear to be spending hours prepping pho.
