Product itself works well. However the BMW badge was poor in that the hole drilled in it for the ball adaptor's screw thread to pass through looked like it had been drilled using a blunt drill. It wasn't a nice round hole but jagged and had sharp edges. Also the badge itself had a couple of indentations in the edge.I couldn't be bothered to return it so I cleaned up the hole and straightened the bent edge. This might have been caused due to it being shipped in a soft mailer which had a cut in it!

Not sure about the negative reviews on this one. Maybe people expecting a piece of jewelry? Anyways, looks and works fine. Yes, BMW emblem thin, be careful tightening it up. Instructions say “finger tight”. Very satisfied with the product. Instructions were good too. I would buy again.

Came with a bent emblem I managed to straighten out. In less than 6 months the Plastic ball disintegrated.I just need the plastic ball.Can someone from the company please email to correct this the $40 is a total waste if I can't get a replacement.

The ball and entire mount is made of thin plastic wire wrapped in the shape of a ball. The moment I clamped lightly with the RAM mount, there were ugly cracking sounds. It was the ball falling apart. It’s supposed to be made from solid rubber. As a result of the ball falling apart, the entire mount becomes wobbly. Check the photo. Great idea, horrible execution. I strongly believe the other reviews are fake.

This doesn't look so bad when mounted. But do NOT buy this because the materials used probably aren't even worth $1. And the rust (after less that 3 months) will possibly cause damage eventually. Also, the ball crushes in the clamp and is rendered useless in a very short time. If you lose your phone or gps at high speed you will certainly regret this purchase.

The ball is plastic, and it crushes.Also, the base is plastic. So the screw that holds the ball to the base can't tighten all the way.The ball moves, is loose so it's not stable as I would like.Needs some improvement by changing to a metal base as well.

Was initially happy with the product as it looked good and did what is was meant to do. After one month it appears that the ball has begun to deform in shape. Further inspection shows that it is constructed of spun wire and an coming unwound.

So cheap I threw it away. Wont last and you can’t ecure it tight so your device will bounce around. Do not buy.
