X-SOL Plastisol Fishing Lure Making Plastic Rubber - 1QUART - Medium Clear

Made a bunch of worms with this stuff. Works great. Heats up really clear. Soft but not too soft.

It’s made my DIY lure making projects so much nicer! The medium clear finish looks great and gives a professional look to my soft plastic baits. It melts evenly, pours smoothly into molds, and holds color well when I add pigments or glitter. Working with this plastisol has been so much easier than other batches I’ve tried — no weird separation, no clumping, and the texture after curing is perfect for fishing soft plastics. The one-quart size is generous and gives me plenty to experiment with different lure shapes and sizes without constantly refilling.

Works as advertised, was able to easily pour my own senco’s without any flaws. Just make sure you carefully watch the temperature when heating it. The temperature rose quickly the last 75 or so degrees and I slightly scorched my first batch. Was still able to use it but the texture of the Plastisol was a little off, and it slightly browned the product giving a muddy look to the color.

It took me three tries to figure out how to use this product. Step 1: shake the bottle really well for about 30 seconds. Step 2: pour the Plastisol into something and heat it in 1 minute increment until liquid is clear. Keep stirring it during the process whenever possible. Step 3: test a drop or two on some surface to see if it sets. Step 4: mix color, scent if needed and pour in a mold Note: if you skip the step 1, it will never set.

Pours easy and makes some great lures.
