Hoping this is what I think it will be.
My watercolor class is currently working on the works of John Singer Sargent. I am hoping my results will be a bit better by using the colors JSS used rather than mixing something. The original color doesn't exist except in the medical field for dying sides, so I am hoping this will be close enough as I don't want to use Opera, which is too fluorescent and also transient.

Loving the Quinacridone Pink
I'm new to watercolor, so I've mostly been using mid-level paints as I learn. Daniel Smith Quinacridone Pink is one of the first quality paints I've tried. It's really velvety and mixes great. I can mix it with a lower quality blue & end up with really rich purples. It lightens to a nice soft pink. I'd like to get their Quinacridone sets eventually as they seem to be some of the more vibrant transparent pigments. Really nice quality!

Love this pink shade
Love this pink shade. I bought this because one of my favorite artists, Tracy Lewis, recommended it. She paints a lot of glowing pastels and incredible florals so of course I had to take her up on her suggestion.
