Does this have an aux input? if so, can you switch back in forth from cd to aux or do you have to unplug the aux cord to get back to the cd mode?

It does have an aux input and a slider with the following settings, bluetooth, radio, cd and finally aux. Therefore you should be able to switch with no problems.
