We tried several different gloves from different manufacturers, and have found these to be the best so far. The fingers are much more flexible than some of the others, which makes gripping trays, etc from the hot oven easier. So far we have been able to use them like potholders and the long arms help avoid burns when removing from our top oven which is a bit too high.

Unlike some other oven mits that are advertised as "long," these are actually long. They're also nice and thick, well-insulated, and have the silicon to keep things from slipping out of your hands. Maybe for some people these would seem like overkill, but when you've been burned (literally) in the past, these make cooking a much better experience.

I purchased these oven gloves because my old fabric ones were worn and I burned myself taking my turkey out of the oven on Thanksgiving. I have had an opportunity to use these new gloves a few times and they are by far the best ones I have ever owned. I'm 52 and have owned quite a few gloves. They are superior. I am petite so they go all the way up to my elbows and my hands are small. My husband has larger hands and while the gloves fit him, they are quite snug on him but on my smaller hands, they are perfect. They have small nubs on the hands to provide grip which I LOVE. I was nervous about using something that seems like rubber in the oven but they are heat resistant silicone. I feel zero heat with these gloves. I intend to buy a pair for my daughter who is getting married soon. Definitely worth every penny.

They are large but they work.

These appear to be an outstanding, quality product. Of course I can't be completely certain because they are quietly designed for small hands. I have normal hands and the sleeves do not fit over my forearm, my fingers can't force their way into the glove. I forced my hand part way into one glove and tried to use it on a commercial oven. I was able to clumsily move about in a 450 degree oven without any heat discomfort and the ability to grip under the circumstances was excellent. If you have small hands, you won't find a better pair of gloves for high heat comfort.
