This is a great product. Easy to use and 100% successful so far. Note - you do get a loud cork popping noise when the cork comes out. Just like opening a bottle of champagne. Jyhe vest wine bottle opener I have used.

This product does not work! Bought as a Christmas gift. Tried it on Christmas Day and does not expel any air from the ‘needle’. Tried using in different corks and with no cork at all and the mechanism doesn’t produce any air- hence it not actually working. Although cheap, the actual mechanics are very simple, so for it not to work at all is very disappointing.

This is a well built extractor which works very well, I was very pleased with how easy it extracted corks.I did have another of these, from a different company, which didn't work and was so weak I snapped it.This one is much sturdier and works as it should without any force.

Needed to replace a normal corkscrew and this style of cork remover came up, so I thought I would give one a go. It is surprisingly easy to do, if a little scary. Remove the bottle foil, fully push in the needle, which is reasonably easy to do then start to pump up and down on the handle. It seems to take quite a few pumps then the cork starts to move before lifting out of the bottle with a loud bang. I am glad I bought one with the clear plastic cover as it feels a bit safer. I'm sure the bottles are nowhere near to breaking point but sometimes it does feel a little nerve wracking! The opener itself seems to be sturdily made and actually this is a lot less hassle than a corkscrew. Recommended.

I wore the last one out! People who have never seen one of these go "Oh Wow". Crumbling corks are a thing of the past and I now have parked my older extractors for emergency only!
