Epiphone Case for ES-175 and Emperor

This case is a good fit for my Epiphone Swingster. You have to swing the Bigsby bar around so that it points to the tone control to get it to fit. Quality is fair. There is a noticeable crease in the outer surface right at the center of the hump on the top of the case. The key and lock don't seem to work, either. But these are minor and it's the right case for my new guitar.

I have to put the tremelo bar in the 12 o'clock position and it still sticks out of the case. Guitar needs to be re-tuned every time I take it out of the case, and with the Bigsby wire bar blocking complete closure of the case, the guitar is not air tight against the elements. Unfortunately, this is the best case out there for my oddly proportioned beauty.

The case is much nicer than what is pictured. It has a high quality tough vinyl or leather exterior with the Epiphone name in gold lettering. It is also arched out to accommodate for the arch top design of the Emperor and Emperor Swingster guitars. An excellent case for the money!!!!

This case really does not fit the Emperor Swingster even with the whammy bar removed. The tremolo mechanism protrudes very high above the face of the guitar and the case padding hits when closing the case. You can force the latches closed but the locking latch next to the handle requires a lot of force to snap shut, thereby exerting considerable pressure on the guitar and tremolo mechanism. The latches are not the greatest either so I'm not sure they would hold up in the long run. I'll be returning this one.

I bought the case to keep my Epiphone Emperor II safe, clean and secure but for less than £80 I wasn't expecting it to be the best guitar case I have ever had. Oh and how about this - I have been looking around for a case that costs less than £100 to house my Epiphone Riviera but to no avail until I bought this; and both guitars fit perfectly! I am a very happy bunny!

I bought this guitar case to protect my new Epiphpone Swingster - it's a big guitar (with a Bigsby) and it fits like a glove.It's a solid piece of kit and my guitar is kept snug & safe. Don't bother buying something cheaper - just pay the money and keep your guitar in one piece.

I bought this case for my Gretsch G5420T and it is a perfect fit. There is a single clip on the rear of the case that needs to be unlocked, as well as the three clips on the front, before the lid will lift. Other than that, it is a solid build and you should buy with confidence.

The case does not close properly even without the guitar and one of the hinges seems quite loose. It is indeed a perfect fit for the ES-175 Premium, but is not high quality. I might ask for a replacement.
