ITIL Exam Prep Questions, Answers, & Explanations: 800+ ITIL Foundation Questions with Detailed Solutions 5th ed. Edition

I bought this book only for practice. I read Axelos' book "Passing your ITIL foundation exam" to understand the syllabus.The book is not bad. Although i had read that "in exam 6 there are stranger questions" in a suggestion, i realized that all the exam papers contains"stranger" questions. My performance from test to test was rising but after test 6 i fall under the base. Test 8 was bad too. I dropped the book and registered for exam the next day. I 'd just passed the exam, I knew I had made a good preparation . I'm quite happy. I admit that I read 60% of the book.The author must change or drop a lot of questions. No one asked me for: "fire-fighter trap", "rummler-brache swim lane digrame" etc.Was I helped? YES. Is the worth of that book correct? No.

This is just a set of questions to help you prepare for the exam. It served it's purpose, and I passed the test, but not because I bought this book.It was very hard to use. It would have worked much better as a paper workbook, or an interactive application. I needed to write my answers on a piece of paper, then go to the solutions and see how I did. The explanations were helpful but not great..If you are looking for some extra questions to make sure you are ready, this can be helpful.I had already taken an on-line course, and purchased this to use before going to a cram session' and test class.I was able to go through some of the book, but I found navigation very tedious.

There were a lot of questions that were out of scope which led to a bit of frustration but I would still suggest the book. The questions that are relevant are typical of the exam. I felt very well prepared going into the exam, I marked any question I had thoughts on and reviewed the answers to those and the ones that I got wrong. This and the study guide were my primary methods of studying. Passed with a 95% on the first attempt.

The good news arethat: The book organization is good, and the variety of questions is great.The bad news is that the used font is too small to be read easily. I will need to capture the pages I will work on by camera or scanner in order to be able enlarge the font. This caused a great difficulty and affected my acceptance to the book.

This book taught me one thing, that the other book I read for the ITIL was terrible. I couldn't pass most of these tests yet. I am assuming that means more studying, but I am glad it pointed that out to me.

So far I am about half way through the prep and it appears very good. It covers the topic well. I haven't taken the exam so I couldn't give it 5 stars. Should I take it and pass it, I will probably change my rating.

If you want lots of sample tests, this is the book. I would have liked to see some additional text outlining the most important points and concepts of the various ITIL volumes.

It would have been useful if I can read the 6 POINT FONT - no, not 10 point, not 8 point, but 6 point font!!!!! and that too on low quality printing. The print shows up as grey / faded black and not black. No, I am not exaggerating and I am not joking. It really is 6 point font!Dear publisher, I would gladly pay a few more dollars for at least a 10 point font book. I know it will be a few more pages but please don't hesitate to pass the cost to the consumer.

Ho comprato questo libro per esercitarmi in vista dell'esame ITIL Foundation. E' ottimo se affiancato ad un testo per l'apprendimento delle nozioni teoriche. Il livello di complessità e' mediamente superiore a quello dell'esame reale e questo consente di raggiungere un grado di preparazione ottimale per presentarsi all'esame con tutta tranquillità. Esame superato al primo tentativo con punteggio di 39/40 risposte corrette ;)

Returned. Despite is it endorsed by ITIL this book is so badly written and difficult to use. It is on a small size compare to a regular book and the "exam prep" claim on the cover is deceiving, there are hundred of questions and answers inside and that's it. Not recommended

la difficolta dei quiz e' abbastanza superiore a quella del test reale. completando un paio di volte tutto il libro e affiancando poi una buona dose di flashcards reperibili su internet (2-300 almeno), si ha una preparazione sufficiente. Consigliato

I bought this book just before passing my certification and I should have bought it sooner. It is very thorough, it goes through all ITIL Foundation sections and has a wide variety of questions. It is indispensable to practice for the Foundation exam.
